Edit: name of restaurant changed & last time I went ask for butter chicken but there was barely no cream in it. It tasted more like a tomato sauce with chicken :/ Not as good as before
Best Indian food in Montréal. Fish Pakora, Samosas, palaak paneer & lamb buhna are amazing out there! I recommend this place. Lovely staff.
The quality of food was great. We enjoyed food & the service & the people who work there awesome. Must try tandori & butter chicken. Good experience with good people.
Best food in Parc X …
Best price, best packaging & polite staff
Too many restaurants on jean-talon but this one is very very special & best restaurant
& suggest to try CHICKEN MALAI TILKA
We loved this place so much. The service was excellent, attentive, but not overwhelming & we enjoyed the waitress singing along to the music, which was a great variety of popular music & some Bollywood flair.
We were brought a bite of a new menu item, a chicken burger, which you may not think to order at an Indian restaurant but I suggest you do! Along with lots of other dishes.
We had the butter chicken, which was on the sweeter side. Not my favourite, but it was rich & creamy & the naan was so good. Our tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection. We also had biryani, which my husband is particular about, & LOVED.
& after all that, we didn't break the bank.
I think this will stay on our list for Montréal whenever we visit!
The service is too late some time but the food is good & i really like panner naan with butter chicken
The ambience & interiors are good but the food is average. We ordered Chicken biryani, Chicken Fried rice & Veg Thali. I would say not a very recommended place for biryani. Taste could be better.
Lamb biryani, butter chicken thali, gulab jamun & masala chai were great
I came here for the weekend lunch buffet. It was something like 16 dollars without tax, which is a very good deal for an unlimited buffet. Every dish tasted very good & fresh, & there were lots of accompaniments such as salad, naan, & chutneys. The tandoori chicken & pakore were especially good, & I enjoyed the warm, fresh naan. All the dishes were refilled very frequently with freshly cooked stuff. I ate about 3 plates before tapping out. The gulab jamun was especially delicious, & I could have eaten 20 or so of those. My only complaint is that the buffet selection is rather small with only 3 non veg dishes, but the price is still very good so I don't mind.
Went for lunch buffet. Worth for what you pay. Tandoori Chicken was not good on the day we went. Apart from that, we were really satisfied. Street Parking was there.
