FAME Café emerges as a beloved, design focused spot with a warm vibe and a music driven atmosphere that many reviewers praise for great coffee and tasty almond and lemon cookies, plus playful drinks like apricot Matcha, while offering a sunny, comfortable space for work or chats and occasional live DJ sets on weekends. The drinks are described as high quality, with some calling the latte, cappuccino and cortado exceptional, and the pastries a hit, though others note inconsistencies in coffee quality and service, especially during busy periods when a single overworked barista handles orders, payments, and kitchen tasks. The space is repeatedly described as cozy, intimate and stylish, with good natural light and a sound system that enhances the experience, yet some concerns include small restrooms, limited snack options, and sometimes lengthy wait times or pricing for plant based milks. Overall FAME Café is seen as a standout destination in the area for reliable coffee, a welcoming ambiance and a sentiment of hidden gem status, with visitors likely to return for the vibe and a satisfying cup despite occasional operational bumps.
Cute cafe with good coffee & amaretti, however there was a member of the staff that was sitting in the cafe, who was very loud & obnoxious. It really spoiled the atmosphere , which would have been otherwise very pleasant... she needs to learn about indoor voice & not yelling across a cafe to other employees.
Came this morning for the first time & I am very specific about how I like my coffee, they somehow got a perfect ring on my cappuccino with a great amount of foam, will come again
really delicious coffee for $4 is hard to find in the mile end!! keeps me coming back. also that almond cookie is to die for. nice place to come & do a bit of admin on my laptop in the mornings 💻 💫
Prices are reasonable when you compare within Mile-End. Cappuccino (the empty cup in the second picture) was fine however we didn't like the concept of Affogato (ice cream & cafe were separated). There're some problems with quality of patisserie products, we didn't try the matcha, but it was quite popular in there. Have a nice day ✌?
Superbe endroit pour prendre une pause café, j'ai essayé leur latte pistache qui était très bien! Il y a aussi des à côté fait sur place chaque jour. Les grains proviennent du torréfacteur Barista.
Delicious almond & lemon cookies. They have fun flavoured drinks like an apricot Matcha. Nice music & ambiance. Lots of natural lighting & big windows to enjoy a nice sunny day.

Great coffee here despite the fact that the staff do not respect patrons time & order & the patrons can be pretentious given the neighborhood. Shame. If they made the ordering more streamlined & people respected one another's time it would be better rating.
I'd give it a 10/5 for atmosphere! Great vibe, good for working, chatting, or just casual ting!
For just a drink it's $1-$10 if you're grabbing anything else it'll be $10-$20
