Review Summary

FAME CAFÉ is widely appreciated for its welcoming atmosphere, great music, and high quality coffee, making it a popular choice for both working remotely and socializing. Many patrons praise the aesthetically pleasing decor, the impressive sound system, and the friendly staff, noting that the space offers a comfortable environment despite occasional crowding. While the cookies and specialty drinks are frequently highlighted as delicious, feedback regarding the cafe is mixed concerning pricing and portion sizes, particularly regarding lattes and plant based milk surcharges. Although some visitors experience inconsistencies with service speed and product presentation, the majority of guests consider it a stylish and cozy destination worth visiting in the Mile End neighborhood.

Been wanting to try this place out for a while, but a regular small latte with oat milk at over $7 before tip? Service wasn't great either, so I'll be sticking to other cafes in the area.

So happy ! It is nice when a latte doesn't cost $11 to $14 🫡 so thanks for having normal prices & oat milk & maple syrup as an option.

The vibes is like Spain meets Foil Gallery but more Brooklyn -

Hate how small the restroom is, & it obviously smells bad.

Wish they had different snack options or more options snack wise. Those are my only point deductions honestly

Employees were nice & efficient
Billingual

Latte was good

Will definitely stop by, again - when around

Good coffee, good vibes & the place is nice.

My one gripe: they charge $1 extra for oat milk. I just wish that, in 2025, this cafe (& many others) would stop charging extra for plant-based milks.

I didn't give the low rate, because the first time, with another barista, I was happy & the owner is a nice person.

I ordered a Cortado. The coffee was good, however, it more looked like a Macchiato, in terms of size & quantity of the milk, but the price was more like a Flat White/small Latte that you get from other coffee shops in the neighborhood. The first time that I got a Cortado there, the size was the regular size & when I mentioned that to the barista, she said that I was wrong.
