Nous sommes venus avec ma copine pour brunch/ déjeuner le vendredi 21 février, car elle avait particulièrement apprécié la place quelques mois auparavant.
Néanmoins nous n'avons pas trouvé ce qu'elle avait apprécié la dernière fois…
31$ pour le HighTower soit 2 oeufs brouillés, 3 petites saucisses puis 4 mini pain cakes. 15$ pour un burger au poulet frit, indiqué comme le plat le plus épicé sur la carte, mais hormis quelques grain de poivres, il n'y a rien d'épicé dans ce burger. En bref nous avons été déçu du repas, ce qu'il contenait ainsi que la qualité des aliments.
Pour la même qualité, aller dans une chaîne telle que l'Oeufrier coûtera moins cher & nous comblera plus.
Sans oublier la poubelle à l'entrée du restaurant, laissant à peine l'espace pour ouvrir la porte d'entrée…
Points positifs: Le restaurant est beau puis le service répond aux attentes d'un service de base.
Another 5 star experience in Montreal. Very friendly staff, you should reserve ahead though, very busy!! Food was speedy & so delicious. We would return for sure. We had the waffles & full breakfast & the mini pancake bites (these are to die for, they melt in your mouth with flavour) also the music is great I was jamming with all the tunes as we enjoyed a family brunch!

Heard good things, but was disappointed, definitely over hyped.
The good:
The food was good. The chairs were comfy, tables aren't too close together. Ambiance is generally nice.
The bad:
While the waffles are good, they don't don't come with syrup or anything. The portions are small. The cheese steak is the smallest cheesesteak I've ever seen. The eggslut doesn't come with any sides, just a sandwich on a plate. Felt very expensive for what you get.
Food was slow. Service was slow. Asked for ketchup, saw the server go get ketchup, then play on his phone for 5min before bringing it to our table.
Overall left feeling like we paid too much for a very mid experience.
Globalement ça va, mais c'est quand même très cher vu les portions & surtout…ils ne font AUCUN café spéciaux (chai latte, London fog, moccacino…). Pour une place de brunch, c'est vraiment dommage.
C'est surtout une place qui se veut trendy & instagrammable. Même si l'équipe est très sympathique, nous ne reviendrons pas.

The food was amazing! Very flavourful. The price was expensive but given I got 3 chicken strips with the waffle, it makes sense. The music was a bit too loud, but the vibe was nice.
The food was not bad but it was ridiculously overpriced & not tasty enough to justify the price in my opinion. The eggslut has too much American cheese & I am surprised they didn't go for a higher quality melty cheese. We got two eggsluts, two hot cacaos & shared a bowl of pancake balls. Without tip it was around 72$ & was close to 90$ with the tip. The chicken waffle looked tasty & so did the steak & fries but we went for the vegetarian options instead. The staff was polite, quick & although I saw many reviews saying service was slow, we got our food relatively promptly despite the restaurant being very full. If the portions were bigger or the price was cheaper, I would have given this place 4 stars & maybe 5 if the food was less generic.
Took a minute to be seated but for me it was more about being acknowledged. It's a nice, small space with great ambiance. I had a reservation but chose to sit at the bar instead of table… great decision. The food was ok, nothing surprised me per se. I consider myself a'foodie' so the menu was'basic' but ok & well cooked. The cocktails were good & our waitress was very nice & attentive. Good place to catch up with friends over a simple meal!

Overhyped "tiktock/insta" brunch place. Had made a reservation for Saturday morning with deposit required in case of no show, which is completely understandable. Was very excited to try out their waffle chicken plus their eva pancake. Upon ordering, server told us both of the items were not available, waffle machine is broken & pancakes are discontinued...( which we saw on instagram) Waffles & fried chiken were their signature plate....... What came down to the 2/5 stars was this eggplant dish. This dish is like, drinking oil. The eggplant was over-drenched with oil including the nan bread. Ate the 1/4 of the plate, the only thing acceptable was the boiled eggs. We are super disappointed in this overpriced brunch spot. The crepe bites definitely saved this review from getting a zero.
J'ai amené mon amie à cet endroit pour son anniversaire & le service était impeccable. Ils nous ont même amener des shots ( si vous buvez bien sûr) & notre serveuse était extrêmement sympathique & la nourriture est excellente. Je rêve encore à leurs crêpes délicieux .

Absolutely outstanding! The ingredients were fresh, & you could tell everything was made with care. The attention to detail, both in the presentation & taste, really set this place apart. It's clear that the chefs & staff are passionate about what they do. Whether you're looking for a casual brunch or a special occasion spot, Eva's is definitely a place I'll be returning to.
