gnocchi(299) sauce(146) cheese(69) price(54) prix(40) tomato(35) cheap(35) quick(32) spicy(31) tomato sauce(29) box(26) flakes(25)They could at least have an atm that is accessible, I literally traveled there for this stupid dish & never got it because no ATM nearby. I will not even bother to go into that part of the city again it's inconvenient & dirty.
Excellent quality of food. Excellent price. Staff were friendly & efficient. Perfect spot for a lunch
Extrêmement simple mais bon. Pour $5, ça vaut le coût. Attention, il n'y a pas de salles, ils vendent sur la rue. Aussi si vous n'avez pas Interac & que vous êtes étrangers, il faut payer en liquide.
Cute hole in the wall place! Came here for the $5 Gnocci. Add 1.50 & you get chili flakes & Parmesan cheese.
It's the best thing I've eaten since my Grade 4 teacher's rigatoni sauce. I remember eating it as a kid, & even after all these years I still crave it & I'm glad I found this on my trip to Montreal cause it was nostalgic lol
They take cash or Canadian debit only.
I've been there a few times, but the last two visits, the gnocchis were much less good. Price remains great, but the quality is simply not what it used to be.
Jveux dire cest 5$ dans un beau quartier, allez y, sa vaut un pti détour été comme hiver.
The sauce doesn't work for me. Keep it simple, throw on some fresh pomodoro & basil & call it a day
I passed box early on Saturday.
It was cold & snowy. The young girl was working alone. She was swamped, working non stop.
Always with a smile & helping people with their questions.
I had to leave a good tip on take out. 👍👍👍
Oh, gnocchi are good too
Those are no gniocchis, too salty & acid. Do yourself a favour & find a real hidden gem, plenty in Montreal...
Pillowy soft, Nonna-approved, & famously $5. 🍝✨
If you've walked through the Mile End, you've definitely smelled the garlic & tomatoes wafting from the iconic window of Drogheria Fine. There is something so satisfying about holding that warm white carton (usually reserved for Chinese takeout!) filled with the most comforting gnocchi in Montreal.
Did you know? The gnocchi wasn't actually the original plan! Drogheria Fine opened as a simple grocer to sell their family's authentic Calabrian tomato sauce. The gnocchi window was only started as a'tasting station' to help promote the sauce. It became such a massive hit that it turned into the legendary Montreal staple we know & love today. 🍅❤?
Whether you like yours with a little extra kick of chili or a mountain of parmesan, it's a must-stop every single time.

Gnocchi were great & $5 is a good deal however it is debit or cash only & no indoor seating is available
Like everyone has been saying, you just can't beat the price. The box is small but mighty as it surprisingly is able to contain plenty of gnocchi. There is no indoor seating but there are public benches outside. The sauce is not my favourite but it's still an overall good snack . When I come back I'll try to bring some cheese or cured meats to eat on the side!
