Afficher toutgnocchi(304) sauce(149) cheese(71) price(56) prix(40) cheap(38) tomato(36) quick(32) spicy(31) tomato sauce(30) box(27) tasty(26)It was an unfamiliar pasta noodle, but it was a pleasant experience because it was delicious. It was a very cheap & hearty lunch in Quebec.
J'en prend un quand je passe vers le Mile. Vraiment cheap & ça réconfort l'esprit.
Super friendly & super delicious!!! Price is insanely cheap for top tier gnocchi.
Honestly? The gnocchi is good, it's the sauce that's pretty bland. It's too sour! There's a bit of an indecipherable aftertaste too. It tastes like cheap store bought pasta sauce unfortunately. Improved by the spice, but not by much.
I keep coming back because it's hard to beat a hearty $5 meal! It warms you right up on a cold autumn day. But it's by no means stellar.
Service is always amazing though, really nice people. & there's seating nearby which is great bc it's no food indoors
Would love to see a vegan cheese option! Also would be nice if the toppings could be sandwiched into the gnocchi, so the whole thing is spiced/cheesy & not just the top
Highly overrated. I still don't understand what's the hype about. Apart from the price, which is honestly cheap, & the nice, kind staff, the gnocchis themselves are ordinary. & the sauce is below average, too acidic & oily with no distinct taste or flavor.
Only the freshest gnocchi served here w/lots of crushed red pepper flakes served out of a window in a generic cheap-o Chinese take out box for $6.00. What's not to love ❤?💕
Delicious, filling, & super cheap gnocchi -- what more can you ask for? This cute, Instagram-famous shop window serves nothing but gnocchi with homemade tomato sauce; you can only get it to-go, & they don't sell anything else (although you can choose to dress it up with cheese &/or red pepper flakes). Although they only make one thing, they do it incredibly well -- the gnocchi is super soft & pillowy, & it's clear that they started as a tomato sauce shop. The sauce is remarkably flavorful, with the right balance of savory, acidic, & very slightly sweet. It's especially tasty with the pepper, although beware that they like to pour a vat full of red pepper flakes on top. It's served in a Chinese take-out container with chopsticks, which is very cute & feels a bit like a clash of cultures.
The staff is super friendly, & it's 100% worth a stop, especially at their price point of $5 for a giant take-out container. They don't have any seating inside, but there are a few benches nearby that you can plop down on.
Cheap, quick, & delicious!!!!
I recommand order the spicy, its mild burn makes it taste so good!
The service is super quick even with the line.
Why the hype? People by the droves picking up a quick box of gnocchi with tomato sauce… cheap ($5) but quite disappointing, mainly because of the sauce. The gnocchi itself is good, not too large & plentiful, but it's destroyed by the sauce which is most definitely from a can; an industrial-sized one. Had I known, I would have asked them to hold the sauce & just do Parmesan & chili flakes. Oh well. The price is right.
Stopped in yesterday & despite a long line, it moved rather quickly.
Menu is definitely very limited (gnocchi with cheese with option to add spicy or gnocchi with extra cheese & spicy).
The gnocchi was pillowy & filled to the brim of the takeout container for $6. Sauce tasted good but would've paid more for them to use real parm cheese than the typical store bought parm.
Chopsticks come with the gnocchi but charged extra for forks which is a bit annoying as chopsticks were not ideal for it.
For a quick, cheap snack we would definitely go back.
I drive an hour there then an hour back not because it's cheap but because it's authentic & located in beautiful Montreal neighbourhood.
Great gnocchi, super cheap. There's long wait times, but that's because it's so inexpensive & good. Defiantly worth checking out at least once
Cool little street food-type stall offering a nice cheap meal! The gnocchi are basically little tiny balls of dough after steeping in the sauce for a while but they're still good! The sauce was nicely spiced & tasted great. Can't complain for the price.
Knew about this place from its hype online but actually just stumbled past it unintentionally as it's located near lots of other popular eats! Simply cheap & tasty. It is a bit plain & the sauce kind of reminds me of Chef Boyardee, but it was delicious nonetheless. After all it's only 6$ (cheese is 1$ extra).
Cheap, tasty, fillings hmm what else I can say? This place is located next to Fairmount bagel, so after I got my bagels I went & got $5 gnocchi with cheese. It came on chinese take out boxes with wooden chopsticks. There's an extra $ if you'd like the fork. Taxes included on the price.
Love the ambience. It's fun to buy those cute take out boxes of gnocchi, but I have to be honest about the taste. The sauce is very mid, a shockingly tangy bright orange. Reminded me of Chef Boyardee with some added basil. The gnocchi are as small as baked beans, also a bit strange. The parmesan on top is ok. I was only able to eat half before I got full. The serving size looks deceivingly small, but this stuff really fills you up! Overall a fun thing to try once....maybe twice. It was $5. SO CHEAP! (I brought my own fork, lol, but they sell wooden ones. Those are not free)
Best & cheapest gnocchi in town! Sauce is velvety & delicious & great fresh gnocchi.
Great cheap eats option, although the gnocchis were overcooked, the sauce was overly salty, it was still hot, good & filling for 5$, wouldn't go out of my way to try it again but for 5$ you really can't complain.
