It is a very small shop with no seating available. It is located in a residential area filled with many places to eat & drink. There is a park nearby if you want to sit & eat your gnocchi.
Wow, glad we went here! One item on the menu for $5, but it's done very very well! I got the spicy with cheese version & my wife & son got the cheese version. We all loved it! We will definitely be going back for more!!! For those who've never been this is not a sit down restaurant, it's basically a service counter with sidewalk seating (no tables) in proximity of the location. Looking forward to trying the jar of pasta sauce we bought to bring home!!
A great grab & go option that really adds to the dynamiam of the street. A little on the spicy side but nothing unbearable.
Portion sizes are on the larger size so it makes a perfect on the go appetizer for two if you're on your way to one of the other great restaurants or dessert spots that are on this street.
Solid choice! Not that spicy or cheesy, but delicious none the less. It is definitely too much for one person in my opinion. We split one box between four people & I felt like that was the perfect amount. I would totally recommend stopping by! However, like most spots in Montréal there isn't really a place to stop & sit & eat. There was a small seating area that was a public shared space & at the time we were able to get a spot. So be prepared to eat & walk or eat & stand.
This gnocchi pasta shop is perfectly located in a food corner from Fairmont Bagels to Drogheria to Kem CoBa! There was a line when we got there but it moved fast. I love the very simple menu. Honestly, you can only get gnocchi either (1) plain, (2) with cheese, &/or (3) spicy. & it's cash only. Such a smart business idea, perfectly located, & the gnocchi was a perfect snack/meal! We got the spicy gnocchi without cheese, & it was just red chili flakes on top but they definitely made it spicy.
Cheap, quick, & delicious!!!!
I recommand order the spicy, its mild burn makes it taste so good!
The service is super quick even with the line.
This was the best gnocchi we have ever had ! Give the spicy one a chance believe me you won't regret it .
It is a mile end classic. The famous gnocchi shack to try in Montréal. Don't expect an brilliant gnocchi but it is good. Go for spicy add cheese. Sometimes the line is long but it is worth it as the street is lovely & makes the whole mile end experience worth it.
Stopped in yesterday & despite a long line, it moved rather quickly.
Menu is definitely very limited (gnocchi with cheese with option to add spicy or gnocchi with extra cheese & spicy).
The gnocchi was pillowy & filled to the brim of the takeout container for $6. Sauce tasted good but would've paid more for them to use real parm cheese than the typical store bought parm.
Chopsticks come with the gnocchi but charged extra for forks which is a bit annoying as chopsticks were not ideal for it.
For a quick, cheap snack we would definitely go back.
Cool concept. For the price point, it's good value with generous portion & quick, friendly service. That said, there's not much selection & I'm not sure it's worth the hype - it's good, but not amazing. The spicy is quite spicy, go no spice or low spice if you don't want a kick. Note, they only accept Canadian debit cards & cash. Only has a to-go window, no seating.
The food is really good considering the price. I chose the option with cheese & flakes & it was indeed spicy but delicious. The line was long but moved fairly quickly.
Absolutely LOVED the gnocchi!! I tried the spicy & cheesy gnocchi & it did not disappoint! Would definitely come back, it also helped that it was rainy today so there wasn't much of a line.
Great price & value | Good taste but I wish I didn't choose the spices. I hoped to get a herb mix but it was just chilli & too spicy | You pay extra if you want a wooden fork
Stopped by as part of a food tour. We had the option of the regular or spicy version. I had the spicy version, which I thought was excellent. I hope I have enough time to stop by again before leaving Montreal.
I mean, it's a storefront that serves one thing - gnocchi. Served in a Chinese takeout box with chopsticks (forks cost extra) with options of as is, extra cheese, spicy, or both. Grab a box & sit on the benches out front to eat. Very very addictive!
The best 6.75$ I have spent. If you are someone with a good spice tolerance, you should try cheese & spicy for use.
In the spirit of supporting small businesses I visited this place. However, their sauce doesn't disappoint at all. I wasn't in love with their Gnocchi but it was filling & good food. The sauce is GOOD! They don't have dine-in experience, they take cash or card which is nice. You can get takeout or just the sauce. They have spicy option & regular. The spicy is super spicy!
The only good thing about it was the cheap price - $5. We had the spicy one, & it was honestly pretty bad, putting just chilly flakes, is not enough to make a tasty spicy sauce.
Cheap fast & super delicious. What more can you ask for. Usually a line so be patient. You can skip to the front of the line if you are buying a jar of sauce & not getting any gnocchi. Can ask for extra cheese or spicy.
