Drogheria Fine est un petit comptoir sans chichis qui propose des gnocchis en takeout servis dans une boîte et accompagnés d'une sauce tomate maison à choix avec parmesan ou piment. Le rapport qualité-prix est largement mis en avant et les portions sont généreuses, ce qui en fait une halte pratique et prisée dans le quartier Mile End. Les avis varient sur la sauce et la texture: certains parlent de gnocchis moelleux et d'une sauce savoureuse, d'autres trouvent la sauce trop acide ou les gnocchis parfois pâteux selon le jour. L'origine du lieu, née d'une épicerie familiale calabraise et d'un stand de dégustation, ajoute au charme street-food et l'ambiance de trottoir renforce l'expérience rapide et conviviale; il est habituellement possible d'emporter et d'acheter la sauce en bouteille pour prolonger le plaisir. Dans l'ensemble, Drogheria Fine demeure un choix bon marché et réconfortant, reconnu comme une icône locale pour les gnocchis, malgré des opinions plus mitigées sur la sauce et la constance.
Unfortunately the quality got very bad in the last few years. The gnocchi are way overcooked & the sauce is burnt. It used to be way better a few years ago.
This gnocchi is a must try if you're in the area! The tomato sauce is creamy & one of a kind. Although eating pasta with chopsticks sounds weird, it actually really works! Only downside is long(ish) line outside, but it's very reasonable considering how amazing it is.

Straighforward gnocchi place. A classic take-out spot in Mile-End that locals & tourists love. The prices are fairly good ($6 per box) & the sauce & pasta are rich & filling. During the early afternoon, there may be lineups of around 10-15 minutes. Note that there is also no seating, & I don't recommend buying the pasta+sauce in the jar because it doesn't cook nearly as well at home. Despite this, it's my favourite comfort food spot.
Meilleur gnocchi en ville! Excellente sauce maison & la texture des pâtes est parfaite. Prix très raisonnable pour la portion & va vous remplir le bide sans problème. Sauce & gnocchi authentique. Ils offrent aussi un pot maçon de 3 portions pour 15$ afin de faire la recette à la maison.
Got to try this place on a food tour, glad they added this spot to the line up. This spot dishes out gnocchi cooked in their freshly made sauce. It's take out only & they give you chopsticks to eat the gnocchi which was different. Given the cost it's definitely worth a stop. You can buy just cans of the sauce too.
Best value for money! Great portion! Really love the sauce :) & it's super cheap given the amount of food. No seats but nice to have it at the benches & just do ppl watching.

Quick & delicious! When a place does only one thing, they better do it well. Drogheria's gnocchi is petite & with just the right amount of sauce. I recommend getting it with extra cheese & spice. (It's a generous spice. Since it's red pepper flakes added on top, you can ask them to hold back a little bit.) Chopsticks are free. Forks are available for a slight cost. Find a nearby bench & enjoy!
Je n'ai pas trop aimée. En effet, ils étaient pas très bien cuit & tout mou. Ça collaient beaucoup au palais & dans les dents. Pas pratique quand nous avons un appareil dentaire. Il y avait un peu trop de sauce. Toutefois le fromage était bon. & la queue était plutôt longue. Le service était rapide. Nous devons payer pour les fourchettes sinon c'est baguette ou rien. Il n'y a pas non plus de breuvages.
Yummy food at a reasonable price. The portion in that small-looking takeout makes you full for a while. The sauce & parmesan cheese are reminiscent of my grandma & my mother back in the day. There is no place to dine in & also if you have only a credit card you are going to be in trouble. It all depends on you how much love this food or the nostalgia around it.

Edit: 2 years later & still the same great taste at the same great price $5 for a box of gnocchi you're unlikely to forget Simple & delicious gnocchi, tomato sauce. Just one thing & that one thing done right
For $5 gnocchi, it's pretty good. But you can't step inside the store for some reason & they give you a lot of sass about it. It's nothing super special, but the tomato sauce is fresh & the gnocchi is good for what it is.
In the spirit of supporting small businesses I visited this place. However, their sauce doesn't disappoint at all. I wasn't in love with their Gnocchi but it was filling & good food. The sauce is GOOD! They don't have dine-in experience, they take cash or card which is nice. You can get takeout or just the sauce. They have spicy option & regular. The spicy is super spicy!

After reading all of the reviews about the gnocchi I just had to try it. I was disappointed that the sauce had a Chef Boyardee tang to it. The price was low, but not worth the trip to get here.
For five bucks, this place is beyond worth it. An entire Chinese takeout box of gnocchi with tomato sauce & option of additional cheese &/or red pepper flakes! It's the only thing they serve, & they get it RIGHT. Pillowy soft & petite gnocchis. Super saucy, which I prefer. Do not skip this food counter as part of your Mile End Fairmount Ave tour!
Amazing deal only $5. Great portion, you can smell the delicious sauce through out the street. Fair mount bagels is right next door making it a great area to stop for food.
