Had such a great experience at Darbar Restaurant! The food was absolutely exceptional & felt incredibly authentic to Indian cuisine. The lassi especially was a true Punjabi experience
The atmosphere was beautiful, & there was even live music when I visited which made everything feel extra special.
Most importantly, the service was outstanding. You can really tell the head chef is deeply passionate & dedicated to what he does, & it truly shows in every detail

Only great things to say! Thank you to chef Simar & our waiter Arindom. An amazing experience as usual from the food to the service. They provide an unique experience & personalized menu which shows how much they care for their clientele. My favourite indian restaurant in Montreal, by far.

Absolutely amazing experience for anyone that wants authentic north indian cuisine. The staff is very willing to please & is more then happy to help with anything that might make your culinary experience more enjoyable. This was fantastic!! The most delicious & innovative Indian cuisine. The service was excellent - the server was knowledgeable & prompt. The owner & head chef visited the table personally to check in as we ordered & as we ate - he is a lovely man who is so wonderfully passionate about his work! We can't to go again & again whenever we visit Montreal.

This is an incredible restaurant. The chef came to our table & helped us craft a perfect dinner. We were with our two young kids who'd always been lukewarm on Indian food. Now they want to drive 5 hours to go back again.

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had in Montreal. The ambiance is nothing special, however the food more than makes up for it.

Try the place & you will believe! Just don't judge the decor before you take a taste of the food.
