Right in the heart of the historic district - surrounded by cobblestone streets, stone façades, & that unmistakable Old Town charm - this café feels like a perfect little pause button. Whether you're sightseeing, taking photos, or just wandering aimlessly through the old port area, it's an ideal stop to recharge.

The coffee here is honestly one of the best value finds in the area. In a neighborhood where prices can easily climb because of the tourist traffic, their $5 coffee feels like a small victory. & it's not just cheap - it's genuinely good. Rich, smooth, & properly brewed, it's the kind of cup you can sip slowly while watching the world pass by outside.

& then there are the crêpes. Fresh, warm, & surprisingly affordable, they're the perfect companion to your coffee. Light but satisfying, sweet without being overwhelming - exactly what you want when you're taking a break in the middle of exploring. It's rare to find a place in Old Montréal that offers both quality & reasonable pricing, especially right on Rue St-Paul E.

The atmosphere is relaxed & welcoming. It's the kind of café where you can comfortably sit for a while - not rushed, not overcrowded - just enjoying good food & good coffee in one of the most beautiful streets in the city. Whether you're a tourist or even a local rediscovering Old Montréal, this spot strikes that perfect balance between charm, comfort, & value.

We were taking a walk through the Old Port of Montreal & decided to stop at Crêperie St-Paul on a whim. It was early evening & the place wasn't very busy, which worked in our favor since we were able to place our order right away without waiting in line. The staff greeted us warmly & were pleasant throughout, creating a relaxed & unhurried atmosphere that fit the mood of an evening stroll in the Old Port.

When it came to the food, the crêpe itself was enjoyable-prepared well & presented simply. It wasn't something that blew us away, but it did the job & left us satisfied in the moment. What stood out more than the taste was the pricing. Given the fact that this spot sits right in the middle of one of the most touristic parts of Montreal, I was honestly expecting to pay more. Instead, the price was reasonable & felt fair for the location, which isn't always the case in the Old Port.

That being said, while the visit was pleasant & without any issues, it didn't quite stand out enough to make me want to return. It checked the boxes for a casual stop, but the overall experience didn't leave much of an impression. For us, it was fine to try once while exploring the area, but not the kind of place I'd feel the need to revisit. Sometimes once is enough, & that's exactly how I'd describe this experience.

Waited about 1/2 hour for our food & it was wrong when it arrived. My wife ended up cancelling her lunch.
I had a cheese & asparagus crepe & the asparagus was canned...it was hideous. Typical tourist trap in the Old Port...bad & overpriced...will never be back.

We stumbled in here after walking around old port, they sat us right away & I found out later that it was technically closed on Google but they stayed open for a local concert that was wrapping up. We got the strawberry-banana-nutella crepe & it was perfect! The dough was soft but crispy around the edges. The decor was interesting with all the different boards covering the walls. The plate presentation was very effective & it looks like they're very consistent!
