I loved it, out of the five lunches/dinners I had in Montreal, i came here three times.
Once a Crêpe com mushrooms & salad & twice Poutine with mushrooms which was difficult ti find in other places. The poutine came with a lot of cheese & mushrooms what made me return again. I asked them to please make it with lots of cheese & mushrooms. Not sure if this was why or if it always comes Like this however I loved it!
Everyone agreed the crepes were subpar. My cheeseburger was ok but it came with nothing. Tips were computed over taxes. This is now illegal in Quebec. (Tips should be calc excluding taxes).
Waited about 1/2 hour for our food & it was wrong when it arrived. My wife ended up cancelling her lunch.
I had a cheese & asparagus crepe & the asparagus was canned...it was hideous. Typical tourist trap in the Old Port...bad & overpriced...will never be back.
It's summer - I didn't expect canned mushrooms on my mushroom & cheese crepe. Hamburger arrived 20 minutes after crepe arrived. Servers were very friendly but the food was extremely bland.
Cozy place on the second floor. It's was a fairly busy time on a Sunday at the beginning of summer, but it wasn't very busy at all at 6:15, we were just the second table. By 7 PM it wasn't half full yet.
Crepes are about $15-20 each for a main course savoury crepe - they come with a fresh side salad - which was a light tasty side.
We tried 4 different savoury crepes - I would say that the crepes become a vehicle for the food, rather than the star attraction itself. The crepes are decent, fairly thick. For those who are unaware, the Quebec style is a thicker, crepe than you may get elsewhere (like Paris). I prefer the Paris version where it's crispy & elevated everything else. In this case, the food is great, but the crepe didn't really stand out at all.
The salmon & cream cheese surprisingly worked out as did the chicken & bacon (which I would have called corned beef instead of bacon).
We had a picky 9 year old who refused to eat it though, but that's more about him than the quality of the food.
Amazing crêpes I love the hotdog & cheese it's a beautiful sightseeing old Montreal in the small cosy building. I would come back here again.
Takes a while for the crepes to come. We had both savoury & sweet ones. I'd say the mushroom cheese crepe was better than the strawberry crepe. The whip cream isn't inside the crepes so if the fruits they use are sour it will be hard to finish. There's also no air conditioning.
