They have no idea what a crepe basically is. Pls do not go here if you are looking to get a taste of crepes.
Lunch at Chez Suzette in Old Montreal was great. We ordered spaghetti with red sauce which was ok but The Parisienne Crepes were fantastic! the hostess & waiter were perfect & we could've not had a better table with views of the old buildings in that area. I believe they could do better with their decor & ambiance. It truly is a nice space & the service was outstanding ❤️
Went here for brunch & had the shrimp crepe as the main dish. It was surprisingly good! We were initially unsure about the combination of sweet crepe with savory shrimp & cheese, but it actually worked really well. Definitely recommend trying it! For appetizers, we had the French onion soup & escargot, & both were just okay. The onion soup was a bit too salty, & the escargot felt pretty ordinary, with small snails. The service was excellent. They checked in on us at just the right times, & our table by the window was perfect, with the sunlight streaming in (such a nice atmosphere!
We've only visited Montreal a few times & each time we try to eat at new places - especially creperies. We were in old Montreal for dinner & came here & got two crepes - one Sugar Shack Special & one La Charlevoix & both were really really good. Staff were friendly & the place was simple & clean. Definitely recommend!
The wait staff is always provides good service. They have good crepes. But, my family & I definitely prefer the chinoise fondue or Chinese fondue. We like the fact that they provide the meat (chicken & beef, sometimes shrimp) & you cook it yourself in the pot. The sauces are pretty good too.
I never miss out to visit this place when i am in Montreal. This time i visited it thrice in 4 days. Their savoury crepes are as good as the sweet ones. So far i have tried the following items 1. Nutella Banana Strawberry Crepe - A combination that is so simple & yet will always touch your senses. & they nail it. 2. Shrimp Crepe - Fabulous 3. Bananabang - Okayish 4. Tiramisu Crepe - A sweet crepe which is not too sweet. 5. Fondue Chocolate- It was good too.
Delicious soups & crepes, very nice & cozy atmosphere, & assistive, friendly service! Grateful for excellent waiter Antuan!
I was really looking forward to having fondue because I'm pregnant & had a craving. I made a reservation at the restaurant for 8:00 pm on Sunday, knowing that they close at 9:00 pm. I arrived at 8:05 pm, but the waitress told me they no longer had fondue or crepes available. I don't understand why, as the restaurant doesn't close until 9:00 pm. They should either offer the full menu until closing or inform customers beforehand if certain dishes are unavailable after a specific time. Since the restaurant specializes in fondue & crepes, it doesn't make sense to me what else they would serve. It feels like they should close at 8:00 pm if they aren't going to serve their main dishes any later.
Incredible staff & best crepes for any occasion! French spirit with twist of warm modern songs. Love it!
Came in solo, ordered the savory crepe with asparagus, ham, Swiss & béchamel & a cafe mocha - both were really good! Service was friendly, sat me right by a window, & was attentive to my table. I'd come back & try the French onion soup, fondue &/or the sweet crepes because they have a lot of great options!
Crepes were okay, area we were seated at smelled like cheese that had gone bad, service was decent wouldn't recommend
Chez Suzette is a charming crêperie that perfectly balances a warm atmosphere with delicious, authentic French crêpes. Located in the heart of the city,Their menu features a wide variety of sweet & savory options to suit every palate. For a savory choice, try the Laurentienne, a hearty crêpe For something sweet,The portions are generous, & the service is consistently friendly & welcoming. Whether you're a crêpe enthusiast or just looking for a unique dining experience, Chez Suzette is a must-visit! Staff are very friendly & the owner visited our table its another sign of a good customer service
Excellent crepes! I treated myself to cheesecake crepes for lunch & they were yummy!! I would definitely go back again .
The food was excellent! We had dessert crepes as it was late at night. The service was ok - it was later at night & our waiter looked positively exhausted so perhaps that was it. The bathroom was not ok. There was water dripping from the ceiling & down into the stalls. The bathroom needs some serious attention. Unfortunately we did not use the restroom until afterward otherwise we may have reconsidered our choice.
