One of the best meals I've had in long time! Service was amazing & the food was incredible. Props to the chef & his team who made a perfect meal. The degustation menu is well worth it. The portions are very generous & the flavours are on point. We will be going back very soon & will be recommending this restaurant to all our friends.
Karl made our dining experience one to remember! A true gem in the heart of the Plateau! My experience at this restaurant was top-notch from beginning to end. The drinks were fantastic & not over complicated. The dishes were delicious & inventive. The staff were very welcoming & attended to all of our needs. If you're looking for a fine dining experience without the pretentiousness Chez Victoire is the spot for you!

Nice ambience & vibe. Sat on the patio & everybody take note: the shade hits this side of the street first so you get relief faster on those hot days. Food wise is what you would expect from a higher tier French restaurant. Menu selection is delightful. My party had a variety of selections & drinks. All were good. If you get the full dozen oysters you might want extra condiments. Menu has fixed price set (gustation) & a la carte. I didn't get dessert but it seems good.

This was an amazing finish to our first day in Montreal. The vibe on Avenue du Mont Royal was such fun, & everything about our meal at Chez Victoire was superb. Matthew (Matthieu? Désolée!) was welcoming, encouraging, & extremely knowledgeable about both the food menu & the cocktail/wine list. All of his suggestions were spot on, & his enthusiasm was contagious. We enjoyed tasting the wines that he recommended so much! Local mushrooms were featured on the night's menu & were delicious, as was the burger de smoked meat maison; not a burger at all, but a perfectly sized portion of house smoked meat Montreal style with nicely paired condiments. Highly recommend the Clementine Mash cocktail for those who indulge. Merci mille fois!
I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant due to all the positive reviews. There isn't a wide variety of choices on the menu, but we did go for the tasting menu & without the wine pairing as we do not drink all that much. In general the food was good. It started off quite well & the appetizers were very tasty. However, the waiter brought out some burnt toast as if it was normal. I had to ask them to change them. The second time was much better. As we got the rest of the tasting menu, I noticed that the taste was very similar from one dish to another. Although it is very tasty, but at one point I wanted to be surprised by something else. It became redundant at one point. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice & the decor is charming. The service was attentive, except for the burnt toast.
Came here for dinner, food were amazing, staff were really friendly, the only thing is the cocktails didn't impressed me. I tried three out of four & they were all alright. I was expecting better cocktails to go with the meal but was happy for what I got.
Nous avons partagé un dîner en amoureux! Tout de suite séduis par l'entrée à base de pétoncles & l'incroyable côte de boeuf. Les légumes, la sauce & les frites étaient divins! La cuisson saignante réussite a 100%. Le service professionnel, souriant & chaleureux. Nous avons pris le dessert avec digestif recommandé par notre serveuse au bar. Atmosphere/service: Ce restaurant est très bruyant du à la configuration de la pièce. Le pire c'est en haut où le plafond est bas & ça amplifie le bruit. Vous passerez un moment désagréable. Le serveur à insisté à multiples reprises pour nous demander ce qu'on voulait boire. Une des tables à l'étage était occupé par 5 femmes qui étaient complètement ivres. Le même serveur n'arrêtait pas de les servir... Au point où les deux tables à côté d'elles ont demandé à être déplacé. À notre tour nous avons demandé de changer de table, le serveur nous a dit que c'était pas possible sans vraiment prêter attention à notre requête. Food: les plats sont minuscules, c'est la première spécialité de la maison. Ils essayent de se présenter comme un restaurant étoilé mais les plats sont bien en deçà d'une telle qualité. Le tartare a dû grâce aux épices, mais le poisson manque de qualité. Le crudo de pétoncles n'est pas mauvais mais le mélange kumquat fenouil montre un manque de talent en cuisine. Les calamars fris.. Soit l'huile n'est pas changé souvent soit elle est de mauvaise qualité mais j'avais l'impression de manger une friture de fast food. Les carrotes... Étaient peut-être le pire sur le menu. Ça n'était tout simplement pas bon. Enfin le risotto était descent mais rien d'extraordinaire, le riz était cuit correctement, les champignons avaient de la texture mais les saveurs n'avaient rien de spéciales. La pièces de boeuf était très bonne.. La seule chose "réussie" sur le menu, bien que les haricots verts étaient croustillants au point où ils n'avaient pas été cuit complètement & recouverts de beurre pour vous faire oublier ces manquements en cuisine... Enfin le fondant au chocolat était recouvert d'une toute petite boule de glace qui font tellement vite que ça rend le fondant peu agréable à la texture humide.. Donc plutôt déçu par la nourriture. Tout est dans l'apparence ici, rien dans le fond. Vu le comportement du serveur. Nous n'avons pas laissé de pourboire. Le serveur s'est alors énervé & nous a dit qu'il fallait laissé un pourboire. Nous lui avons fait comprendre que son comportement n'était pas acceptable.
Services impeccable, ambiance chaleureuse, sélection de vin exhaustive. Mais la cuisine a vraiment pris une débarque chez Victoire. L'entrée de tomates était bonne, mais l'assiette de pétoncles à 38$ était très petite, les pétoncles minuscules qui manquaient de fraîcheur. Le Burger de smoked meat super gras & similaire à du smoked meat gelé. Mi-cuit au chocolat similaire à celui du Costco, beaucoup trop liquide. C'est dommage, il fut un temps que Chez Victoire, c'était super bon.

Très bon accueil, très arrangeants avec ma poche d'épicerie faite juste avant & rangée bien gentiment au frigo le temps de mon repas. Même si la cuisson n'a pas été comme je le désirai la viande était très bonne & la sauce bien arrangée. Les frites font parties de mes favorites également. J'ai passé un très bon moment dans une atmosphère où je pouvais échanger avec la personne qui m'accompagnait sans être mal accomodée par une musique trop forte. Dommage que ce soit si che
