The food was delicious. We ordered eggplant with pork & black bean sauce & braised pork belly. Both dishes were aromatic & very flavorful. Would definitely come back again.

We came in around 6:00 p.m., just before the crowd arrived; it filled up quickly. Loved the fried rice & eggplant/ground pork dish, plus the sizzling beef. A bit too salty overall, but tasty!
One of the best Chinese restaurants thus far. Great flavours & spice, just too much salt. The salt & pepper squid & the pork eggplant were huge hits. The restaurant is down a few flights of stairs, hence not the most accessible. But they have a few high chairs.
Best authentic Chinese food in town. I recommend getting the spicy eggplant with mince pork, or the dongbei style, it's to die for!!! The general Tao is THE best, & you get a LOT for what you're paying. Top quality!
First of all, the employees could learn a bit about customer service. They took an eternity to take our order, & with an attitude as if we were a nuisance rather customers. We saw other potential customers leaving too because their order was never taken.
On the other hand the general Tao chicken was more breading than actual chicken, & the fried rice with pork & shrimps didn't have any pork, but sausage cubes. The food could definitely improve as well.
We ordered delivery to our hotel from Chez Chili. We got the ginger scallion chicken, pork meatballs, & green bean with minced pork. All the dishes were excellent. Totally satisfied our craving for Chinese food. Authentic & affordable. Highly recommend!
Had a really good dinner here. The food is amazing & the service is really quick & friendly. We did the twice cooked pork & the general tao chicken. The pork dish was very authentic & quite spicy which we liked. The general tao chicken was also really good. I wish that dish had some vegetables that came with it. Looking forward to our next visit to try some other dishes.

The braised pork belly was THE BEEESSSSSSTTTTT one I've had in my life. We can go back to Montreal just for this. Also, our server was amazing. I think his name was Tony.
service started off a little slow , but the food eventually arrived & was good. lasted us 2 meals with leftovers - ordered a spicy fish dish, stirfry with beancurd & pork belly & peppers/onions, & the string beans. typical szechaun food & met our expectations. the server was friendly; i would eat here a second time if i were visiting again
Ordered lobster & pork/shrimp fried rice. Lobster was good, but fried rice was mediocre at best. Didn't realize what they meant as pork was sausages. Shrimp was good. Could have been so much better if they had used bbq pork instead. Friendly service & decent atmosphere.

We had the braided pork with eggs (a gourmet highlight), sizzling beef rib (very good), & spicy Chinese cabbage (tastier than the meat dishes). Everything was good, generous. I've really got nothing but good words for that place.
Used to be good, but not so much anymore. Chicken sauté had small pieces of bones in it. What was sold as pork was in fact mostly pork fat. My advice would be that there are too many menu options, it is hard to choose. They should concentrate on what they can do really well & reduce menu item count.
Ordered the pork salt & spices & wasn't disappointed with it ! It was salty & tasty, I got a huge portion for the price. It was enough to fill me twice with some rice. Kind & efficient service A good recommendation in the Chinese district
