Beautiful restaurant, well decorated. However, the service was slow & a little confused, but the servers were nice.
The big problem is that they are CHEAP! We ordered a ceviche mixto for $25, which was missing a lot of fish & shrimps, but the bigger issue is that we got 2 chips for the ceviche & when we asked for more chips, we were charged $3 more! Ridiculous! We also had fajitas & only got one tortilla. Again, this is on the cheap side.
The food is not bad, not excellent, but for the price, they have to realize that if they keep being cheap, they will not last. The drink were at best okay. Again, they were cheap on the tequila for the margarita. It tasted like a good juice.
Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Nous étions un groupe pour un anniversaire...
Dans le sous-sol, froid & sans ambiance... salle de bain sans papier de toilette (nous étions au moins 15 femmes), pas d'eau chaude & un séchoir défectueux & sans papier à mains non plus...
Personne n'est venu nous voir à l'heure du repas pour savoir si on voulait du vin. Quand j'ai demandé un café, on m'a répondu qu'il n'y aurait pas de lait ni de sucre...
Rien de bien extraordinaire côté nourriture!! Bons drinks!
Incapacité à recevoir les commentaires des gens insatisfaits... aucun gérant sur place ou du moins quelqu'un d'expérimenté côté service...
Je n'y retournerai pas!
Je connais de meilleurs restos mexicains!!

Food was Ok but too expensive, the service was slow & downstairs we were freezing all night. This was one of the worse experience I had in a long time. I do not recommend going to this place during the cold season.

We went there for a birthday party. The venue was nice, the staff friendly...
However, the margarita at 12$ was tasting basically like to supermarket frozen can mix.
The waiter asked us what choice we made from the group menu. Two guest asked for the'Taco Bar' option. Its only once everybody was served that these 2 guests were told that the'Taco Bar' option is only possible if EVERYONE takes it.
The food was below average for a restaurant like this. The Enchiladas where so vinegary. Portion was small.
A comment that was heard around the room, & it pains me to repeat it,'Tres Amigos has better food, for better price'. Yikes.
Calamaris where good.
No one came to ask us if we wanted wine, the water was never filled up, plates where removed rapidly.
dessert was ok (whipped cream was a sort of a knock off cool whip).
We where downstairs so the cold temperature is understandable, but only 1 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom & no hand towels for 22 persons is questionable.
Bills took 45+ minutes to be brought to us only to found out that the delay was du to the 15% tip that was hand-calculated & added to every bill (even if on the menu it was CLEARLY printed out'Tax & Tip NOT INCLUDED')
One guest asked tge manager to remove the 15% tip he was forced to pay to no avail.

Rude & inflexible manager!!!
The girl server is so sweet, we came here before & she treated us nicely. However, the guy manager doesn't qualify for his job at all. We arrive at an empty restaurant, planned to have a big meal quick before our show, & we wanted to be seated at the table for 4. The table is more beautiful, & we think that with the amount of food we're going to order it's better to have a slightly bigger table. But the rude manager refuse to let us use the table, like accommodating for his guests' need is a sin. Instead, he repeats like a broken robot that the table can only be used for 4people. The restaurant is empty & we will leave in less than 30mins, the guy doesn't know how to manage a restaurant & very inexperienced. The owner will suffer because kind of service he provides.
Bad experience, they should fire the amateur & promote the girl!!

Le pire restaurant que j'ai visité dans ma vie!
Nous sommes allés avec mes parents pour passer une belle soirée en famille, des qu'on est arrivé l'attention c'était horrible, on a dû attendre pour un table quand il y avait pas trop des gens sur place, ensuite on a commandé de churros avec crème glace, ils ont pris la commande & sans rien réfuter pour dire après 45minutes qu'ils avaient pas crème glace!
1 heure d'attendre pour rien recevoir! L'attention c'est horrible & la communication qu'ils ont entre eux mêmes pour l'attention aux clientes c'est encore pire.
Je vous recommande fortement de NE PAS Y ALLER.

Un cena muy agradable para terminar nuestra visita en Montreal. Llegamos y justo había música en vivo, Pablo, nuestro anfitrión, fue sumamente amable y nos recomendó excelente comida, les recomiendo probar el pastel de maíz, es asombroso. Una cena 10/10

Ordered rice & beans for our child - never brought it out. Food was ok but not overwhelmingly good. Slow service despite only a few table occupied - do not recommend for kids.

Do yourself a favour & get the pan de elote. It is quite literally life changing. Excellent food & friendly service in a charming & beautiful location, with reasonable prices for such mind-blowingly good food. We'll be back!
