Brunch buffet is no longer there. Don't be fooled by the Instagram videos. My friends & I left because there was no actual written brunch menu & just a general feeling of uneasiness.
I was excited to try their brunch buffet after seeing some Instagram videos. I was sad to be so disappointed… Their café de olla was served cold & was way too sweet. They do not offer regular coffee instead (only for an extra cost).
The food is extremely underwhelming. I tried the chilaquiles verdes (sauce was meh, & they do not put enough meat), the huevos rancheros & beans (probably the best of everything else), the quesadilla (the tortilla & cheese had no flavour) & the potato flautas (the mashed potatoes inside tested like nothing. I am not sure they even seasoned it). I also ordered the churros. They were good, made on the spot so they tasted fresh. But the dough tastes like the one you buy at the grocery store to make churros at home. So again, for the price, I feel there was no special flavour to them.
I can make way tastier chilaquiles at home… nothing special.
For $35 plus tax I would expect a bit more variety. & if the menu will be simple, at least make good salsas & serve the plates a bit better.
I did like the seating space & decor. Service was good.
Très mauvaise attention, ils ont une fausse propagande, un long temps d'attente pour la nourriture, ils ne savent pas comment expliquer les plats, une expérience terrible, le propriétaire professionnel zéro, tous très mauvais, en plus qu'ils suppriment les commentaires sur leurs réseaux sociaux comme si cela empêcherait de ne pas leurs commentaires à des connaissances ou des amis, je vous recommande de ne pas aller économiser votre argent.
Muy mala la atención, tienen propaganda falsa, mucho tiempo de espera por la comida, no saben explicar los platillos, pésima experiencia, la duena cero profesional, todo muy mal, ademas de que te borran los comentarios en sus redes sociales como si eso evitará que uno no de sus comentarios a conocidos o amigos, recomiendo no ir y ahorrarte tu dinero.

😌 Las porciones muy pequenas, sin sabor y caro, No recomiendo. Je suis déçu, nourriture sans goût, très petits par le prix 3 tacos par 28,00$ tortilla très très petits donnéz des frites pour voir le assiette plein, vraiment je ne retournait pas.
First & foremost, the food wasn't even hot. For context, we had the all?you?can?eat brunch option. The food took a minimum of 20 minutes to arrive, & the drinks came about 15 minutes after the food. The waitress never stated her name, & her attitude was unpleasant throughout our visit. She kept serving other tables, including empty ones, while ignoring ours.
Second, the water had a yellow tint & tasted like soap. We never saw them replace the water jar on any table during our entire stay.
Third, the tres leches didn't taste right.
Fourth, when my friend complained about her drink & asked for a new one, the waitress went to speak with the bartender. I genuinely believe she told him not to serve the replacement drink.
Before I forget, there were food items we requested twice, but we never received them.
Lastly, the waitress who took our order at the beginning didn't want to give us the bill. I gave her several glances & hand signals to let her know we were ready to leave, but she never came. In the end, the bartender was the one who brought us our bill.
The only redeeming aspects of the restaurant were the decoration & the bathroom. We actually had a pleasant time doing a little photoshoot because the place is visually appealing.
So, do I recommend eating at Casa Azul? The honest answer is no. Sure, we didn't know much about Mexican food, but that doesn't justify the horrible attitude we experienced during our visit.
Très déçue. J'avais réservé spécialement pour le buffet, mais on nous a annoncé à la dernière minute qu'il n'y en aurait pas. En plus, à notre arrivée, on nous a dit que le chef arriverait dans 10 minutes… Pourquoi prendre la peine de reservé..
The place is very nice & aesthetic, the food is super basic (para gringo) el servicio mal organizado & it is ridiculously expensive for the quality of the food, as a Mexican I do not recommend. I paid 35$ plus tip so more than 49$ for 1 person. Just go to St Hubert in Jean Talon & you will find way bette
No soy un experto en comida ni me considero un crítico pero tengo dos experiencias en casa azul ;una con excelente comida a la carta servicio muy bueno y un ambiente agradable.
Esta segunda ves me quedo a deber mucho la comida ya que fue bufete y la comida casi toda estaba fría lo único rescatable fue el mole . Pero el servicio y el ambiente excelentes . Muchas gracias.
