Ordered beetroot salad & it was good.. three stars.
The real issue, i was part of a group & visited them on 16-April, the guy who attended us was polite & guided me on the vegetarian options & helped me decide on a salad bowl which on the menu was priced $17, with no option for small or large, or price of large mentioned.
I was surprised when i received the bill which had the dish price as 22. & at no time i had ordered a grande bowl or even aware of the price.
Being part of a group i paid it quietly, but realised the server adds higher price alternatives without confirming, & it was not mentioned on menu as well… one star for service.
Service impeccable
Great spot. Unique pizza toppings & fresh amazing salads.
Had the pizza with shrimp. & shredded lettuce... Reminds of a green goddess salad & a big Mac but with shrimp.
Good service & nice decor.
This was a miss for dinner. Mostly vegetarian pizza or salads. The garlic shrimp pizza was a cold salad topped with potato chips on top a pizza crust. Not tasty at all. The crust was the best part.
wow. lots of places to sit & eat! we had a reservation beforehand & it went smoothly. we were a group of five.
the food portions were appropriate & so very tasty, we all loved our dishes!
they use seasonal veggies as well. i got the ragout legumes & it was sweeter than i expected & filling.
the salmon salad , the salmon was cooked & had cream cheese which was well received.
the presentation of the food was magnificent. lovely staff & lovely place.
recommend!
Offering a cozy atmosphere, Café Parvis is the charming combination of a modern & vintage vibe. The food was mesmerizing whether it is the carrot/chickpeas/labneh salad or the pumpkin spice pie for dessert. The canadian-rooted tea was also a perfect end of the evening. Definitely coming back !
We walked over to Cafe Pavis for lunch on a Sunday. It is off a main road in a quiet side street, but you really can't miss it because it's quaintly decorated with many flower baskets, & has outdoor seating. The inside is much bigger than it looks.
Cafe Pavis has a variety of food on their menu & seemed to cater to many taste buds. We saw a lot of locals there as well.
We ordered the broccoli tofu salad (full portion) & margarita pizza to share. This was a good portion for lunch. The broccoli tofu salad used ramen noodles as the base. It was delicious! The broccoli was perfectly charred, the marinated tofu was thinly sliced, & the ramen was al dente. It had a mild flavor & was not heavy. The margarita pizza was classic, with a thin chewy crust, cooked in brick oven.
There is a lot of staff & the place is very casual. Cafe Pavis offers a full bar & coffee bar. Mimosas seemed to be very popular, which I suppose is expected given it was a Sunday.
Une superbe institution de Montreal hyper bien gérée who's in for the long term. Chapeau guys & gals.
Beautiful place. I teresting takes on dishes.
Green salad was amazing, but SUPER vinaigretty & salty, which I loved but might not be for everybody.
Pizza wasn't great... But then again, that's on us for ordering a pizza at a non-pizza establishment
Beigne aux fraises was FANTASTIC, haven't had such a special item in a while.
So overall, amazing atmosphere (love it when I have the urge to move into a restaurant), very volatile quality of food, great service.
Cute place. Food is incredibly average & service was ok. We had the tofu-Asian salad which was incredibly underwhelming & just tasted like sesame oil.
The space is really cute & they have a gorgeous terasse / their front windows open up in good weather, but I personally would not be back to eat.
