Café Parvis functions as a sophisticated urban hub defined by its soaring ceilings, repurposed industrial materials, and abundant greenery that creates a distinct atmosphere. The menu emphasizes artisanal pizzas characterized by thin, blistered crusts and a rotating selection of fresh seasonal toppings that prioritize ingredient quality. Complementing these signature pies are substantial salads and hearty bistro staples designed for efficient service within a bustling, high-ceilinged room. Stained glass windows cast light across the open, communal space, emphasizing the marriage between classic architectural elements and modern culinary execution. The beverage program focuses on robust coffee preparations alongside a curated selection of beverages that pair effectively with the savory menu items. This establishment maintains a focused approach to flavor profiles and structural integrity in every dish served across its bright, expansive, and functional interior space.
Café Parvis is widely regarded as a charming, aesthetically pleasing destination with a warm and inviting atmosphere, frequently praised for its vintage vibe, abundance of plants, and beautiful decor. Many visitors highlight the creative, fresh pizzas and innovative salads as standout menu items, often noting that the restaurant is an excellent choice for casual group lunches, brunch, or relaxed evening drinks. While the venue is highly popular for its unique setting and generally attentive staff, experiences can be inconsistent, with some guests finding certain dishes underwhelming, portion sizes small relative to the price, or the environment occasionally too loud. Despite mixed feedback regarding consistency and service speed, the restaurant remains a frequent recommendation for those looking for a stylish spot to enjoy a meal in a vibrant urban setting.
i was excited to try this restaurant out, as its been part of montreal happy hour scene for a long time. Went for dinner, & food was Subpar, their pizza was literally terrible, undercooked, too much sauce, & when i went to tell the waiter he said'thats the way is made'. Drinks were nothing special, bathroom was dirty & water wasnt coming off. Do not recommend. Montreal has so many places with great food & ambience, dont waste your time.
It's my first time traveling to Montreal & I picked to have lunch at Cafe Parvis just based on a Reddit thread I stumbled upon & that it is close to my hotel. I was blown away by the experience I had! The food is so fresh & incredibly delicious & the staff are so friendly & kind! I had the pleasure of being served by Antoni & Joelle & they were superb. I ended up making multiple trips to Parvis during my stay because of how lovely my first experience was! Can't recommend enough!

Very cute place, aesthetically pleasing. You'll greatly enjoy it if you're a plant lover ( go upstairs) they have gorgeous fresh flower arrangements on the tables that I couldn't have enough looking at them.
I had a pizza & a cocktail & they were very good & memorable. Prices are fair.
This place is suitable for large groups. It can get loud but you'd still hear each other & speak comfortably.
Was here for a late breakfast (~10:00). Service was excellent, food was original, creative & tasty. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere...to me, it felt like I was sitting in a Havana restaurant, really interesting mix of old an new.
Café Parvis is one of those hidden gems in Montreal that you instantly understand why people love. Located in the heart of downtown near Place des Arts, the Quartier des Spectacles, & the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, this café has the perfect mix of great food, beautiful atmosphere, & that unique Montreal charm.
From the moment I walked in, I loved the vibe. The space is warm, artistic, & inviting, with beautiful greenery, a cozy interior, & a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. It feels casual but still special - the kind of place where you can meet friends, enjoy a leisurely meal, or sit quietly with a coffee while taking in the surroundings.
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything felt fresh, thoughtfully prepared, & full of flavour. Café Parvis has a creative menu with options that feel a little different from the typical café offerings. The ingredients are well balanced, & you can tell there is care put into each dish. The coffee was also excellent & paired perfectly with the meal.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, & helped make the experience even better. Despite being a popular spot, the service felt genuine & relaxed.
I also loved the location. It's the perfect place to stop after exploring downtown Montreal, visiting nearby cultural attractions, or spending time in the Quartier des Spectacles. The neighbourhood itself adds to the experience, with so much energy & creativity happening around it.
Café Parvis is more than just a café - it's an experience. Great food, amazing atmosphere, friendly service, & a truly Montreal feel. This is definitely a place I would return to & recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Very disappointed with the brunch I had! Not only was the presentation mediocre, but the taste was just bizarre. It honestly felt like it was made by an amateur chef. What a waste of money. & keep in mind, this was the first item on their brunch menu, not some random choice!
I have to admit, though, the ambiance & interior design were vibrant & unique. Not sure if I want to give it another chance.
