Le Café Olimpico du Vieux-Montréal est largement salué comme un endroit italien bien aimé, avec un café riche et soyeux et une impressionnante sélection de pâtisseries dont tiramisu, cannoli, bomboloni et croissants pistache; l'intérieur chaleureux et le personnel accueillant créent une ambiance de cafe européen qui attire locaux et visiteurs, même lorsque l'espace est petit et que les files d'attente peuvent être longues; les clients soulignent des incontournables comme l'affogato, le cortado, le cappuccino et la glace, ainsi que des services généreux et parfois des accommodements attentifs pour les options sans gluten; l'esprit général est que cet endroit est une visite incontournable pour des saveurs authentiques, une atmosphère conviviale et un fort sens de la culture des cafes de Montréal.
One of the worker there was so rude. I sat for 5 minutes waiting for my friend, the worker came in from behind & told me to go order. So much attitude.
The other staff member were cool though.
May first time to the Vieu-Port location after the Mile-end one. Great staff, very friendly & professional, same great coffee. Places to sit are very limited so expect to get your order to-go.
Used to come here from time to time for some late night coffee. It's a good place to try & draw since the old world brickwork compliments the wooden aesthetic. Seating might be tricky to get since it's always busy with so few seats.
Highly recommended for coffee lovers like us. I loved the crema cafe & my husband enjoyed remix cafe. We stayed in MTL 2 days & we visited this location everyday religiously for breakfast & dinner. The tiramisu & pistachios donuts were outstanding. Over all such a great experience & the staff are very friendly.
We will definitely come back again during our next visit.
I visited for the first time yesterday & was honestly shocked by the service.
The baristas were incredibly rude & acted like making my order was a major inconvenience.
Beyond the attitude, the drink felt like a total scam. I ordered a medium cortado, but the cup was barely half full. I understand a cortado is a small, traditional drink, but if you offer a'medium' size & charge more for it, you shouldn't be giving customers the same small amount of coffee.
Between the dismissive staff & the misleading pricing, I won't be coming back.
Save your money & go somewhere that actually wants your business.
Favorite coffee of the five cafes we hit in our long weekend in Montreal. The cortado was especially perfect & vibe in here was a super fun neighborhood joint.
