Lovely baristas & family feel. Shows live sports & the coffee is great too, really nice. A few tables to choose from so when it's busy there isn't room to sit.
Also had a pistachio doughnut & amaretto biscuit which was yummy!
Would recommend a visit for a local feel & great Italian coffee, good atmosphere!
This is amazing place with great staff. Their food is soo good!!! Especially their pistachios dessert
Skip Olimpico?
Then you haven't really been to Montreal.
Tiramisu is worth bending my no-sugar rule, affogato is heaven, & pistachio is my go-to. Coffee is great.
Im a local here, been countless times.
The pistachio croissant was to die for. Cappuccino was a solid, smooth, velvety taste. Discovered this place by happenstance after picking up bagels. Sad that I never discovered this before on my previous trip to Montreal. A must visit!
Such a cute & cozy café! I tried the pistachio affogato, croissant, & tiramisu - all delicious.
The classic espresso & desserts were spot on, & the staff were very friendly. Seating is limited inside, so it's a great spot to grab a coffee while exploring the area. Love it?
Great cortado & affogato. Wo derful ambience & don't forget the pistachio cookies
This was a really nice spot, but be prepared to wait in a long line. However, totally worth it. We got the pistachio affogato, hazelnut affogato, latte freddo, tiramisu, & Nutella bombolini. The pistachio affogato was spot on & delicious, the hazelnut affogato was a bit too sweet for me. The latte freddo was sooooo good & perfectly bitter for after the Nutella doughnut! The tiramisu was also spot on & I was a tad worried because I've read reviews where they mentioned it tasting boozy, but I think it was pretty close to the real deal. The Nutella bombolini was super filled & super sweet, so you are warned… or prepared! Great spot! Loved it! Oh also seating area is tiny & sparse so hopefully you take it to walk with.
I don't get the hype about this place, the cafe freddo was too sweet & the pistachio pastry was the sweetest thing i've ever had, felt like I had a whole scoop of nutella in my mouth every bite.
Historic place but very small & very crowded. Pistachio croissants were really good, & I like their pastries more than the coffee to be honest.
Found this place while exploring Old Montreal. A charming little Italian café with excellent coffee & a warm ambiance. They only have half a dozen tables, but there was seating available at 10am. Would recommend the café latte & pistachio bomboloni.
I I recently had the pleasure of visiting Notre Dame de Montreal, but before that, I made a stop at Olimpico, & I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was inviting & vibrant, making it the perfect spot to relax. I ordered a coffee & a pistachio pastry, & they were both amazing. The coffee was rich & satisfying, while the pistachio pastry struck the perfect balance—it wasn't too sweet, just the way I like it. Overall, my experience at Olimpico was delightful, & it added a lovely touch to my day. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
Cozy spot, perfect coffee, great pistachio bomboloni, warm & friendly staffs, a must visit in Vieux-Port de Montréal!
Just went to the Olimpico cafe in old port & the coffee was amazing!! They have a lot of snack options so I got myself a little pistachio croissant ✨ Léo was the barista that served me & his coffe was perfectly done, coming from someone that drinks coffee every day. You might have to wait a couple minutes but it's definetly worth it! The atmosphere is warm & you have a couple tables to seat if you want to.
This is a super cute spot for a coffee. The pistachio croissant is a must try! The mocha was super rich & not too sweet. Staff was very friendly with big smiles as well!
Tasty Pastry, Good Coffee, & Historical vibe. First time in Montreal, & received a tons of good things about Cafe Olimpico that I must pay a visit. We stopped by after a sight shopping around Old town area. So luckily that we got an empty spot! Tiramisu, Latte, Affogato for the first round! Briefly, Tiramisu was good, fresh made. It's the most famous here. Affogato suit to my non-coffee type of person, but I found that it was SO sweet! Second round, 2x Bomboloni! a small little dough stuffed with Pistachio cream, & Chocolate chips were great. Frankly, it wasn't sweet like Affogato. Staffs were friendly, with French expression. lol Overall, loved everything here, certainly recommended.
The Mordatella sandwich was so yummy! Pistachio bomboloni was heavenly! Tea with milk was way above expectations. This cafe was worth waiting in line for. Highly recommend this gem of a cafe & we will be back when we visit Montreal next time!
Got the cafe crema, caffe latte, nutella croissant, pistachio bomboloni , & tiramisu. AMAZING taste. Legitimately the most delicious cafe drinks & food. The service was also spectacular. Since we speak english we expected to be treated with a bad attitude like some places in montreal, yet the baristas were super friendly & conversational. Will recommend to everyone & come back for sure! It was quite busy & a long line though. The prices were also very reasonable, our drinks were like 4$ each.
One of my favourite cafes in Montreal - the one in mile end is usually my go to but this one is just as fabulous, near the old port! Not many seating spaces fyi but there's a seating area in the very back (technically the lobby area of hotel WG that is super cozy & where many ppl sit to work/read.) Though their coffee is delicious, try their gelato! I'm convinced their pistachio gelato is the closest I've gotten in Canada to the ones you'd get in Italy
