This is a small coffee shop with 6 tables & some baked goods, but they had the best coffee & service we encountered during our 4 day stay in Old Montreal. The first day I went it was very early, so no line. The next time I went was late morning & the line was to the end of the cafe. I almost left, but remembered how every other coffee I had during our stay was bland & weak. So I decided to tough it out. With 15 people ahead of me I was still out of there in under 10 minutes. The baristas were so quick! Friendly too. This is where you want to go for your coffee in Old Montreal.

Café Olimpico is the absolute soul of Montreal's cafe culture. It completely nails that classic, high-energy European espresso bar vibe, backed by an amazing crew of baristas who are as friendly as they are fast. Every drink is flawless & the pastries are superb.

Joey & Nico are the best baristas. We had their tiramisu & the remix coffee. It was amazing. So worth it

TERRIBLE SERVICE! When we arrived, there was a long line, but ahead of us was a group of people. While the barista was taking my order, he kept talking to that same group, completely ignored me, & served me whatever he wanted to make. Very disappointed because I used to like this place a lot. I had this issue on Tuesday, May 19th, around 2:00 PM. 👎

I visited for the first time yesterday & was honestly shocked by the service.

The baristas were incredibly rude & acted like making my order was a major inconvenience.

Beyond the attitude, the drink felt like a total scam. I ordered a medium cortado, but the cup was barely half full. I understand a cortado is a small, traditional drink, but if you offer a'medium' size & charge more for it, you shouldn't be giving customers the same small amount of coffee.
Between the dismissive staff & the misleading pricing, I won't be coming back.

Save your money & go somewhere that actually wants your business.
