The Greek inspired touch in both the drinks & ambiance adds a unique charm that sets this café apart from others in Montreal. Their Freddo Cappuccino is my personal favourite & a must-try! You can tell they put real passion into every cup.

I usually get a Freddo Zesto or
✨chocolat chaud ✨plus the Foam on top. sometimes both lol. Also I enjoy it more without a straw or a flat lid. The hot drink cold foam combination is fire.
The cafe is great for journaling, networking, people watching, working, & overall enjoying a great drink.
The interior design of the cafe is gorgeous honestly. It's the little things you see everywhere you just have to pay attention. For example the frame around the tv *chefs kiss*
The owners are smart business men with genuine passion for their craft & you can see it reflected in their cafe.
The great ambiance, the engaging staff, the rewarding drink its all a 10/10 experience.

My group & I were visiting from New York City & Cafe Alphabet is a must try cafe when in Montreal! Not only are all their drinks beautiful & delicious, the staff is amazing. When we visited, Tom was super helpful & friendly- he helped us with our drink selections as well as went above & beyond to accommodate our little one. Tom made our experience even better. We will definitely be back every time we visit Montreal!
Firstly I didn't plan to visit this cafe. As I'm walking out of the Bernie Beigne donut store across the street I noticed this lovely cafe packed to the gills so much so that there was steam on the windows. Thanks to having fresh donuts in my possession I thought that I should check this place out as it seems "cool" & if I'm inspired, why not marry a good cup of "Joe" to my donuts - right So we got in line & we were served by Tony (an owner) & he was really cool. Also very patient. Why you ask? Because I don't know all the "cafe lingo" & basically asked for a decaf cappuccino & a decaf cup of coffee with two cream & a sweetener. This had to be explained to me how a simple cup of decaf coffee would be prepared - I'm like "as long as it's coffee in a cup I do t care how are what you do" & with a friend warm smile it was done. As we waiting to be served our coffees to the right where the other partner manages the outbound side of the business - he too was super friendly & warm & also speaks Greek too! Interior is clean, cosy, intimate, chic, & smells divine. All you want to do is find a cosy spot & drink you coffee & & drink more coffees & just relax in this busy happening little gem of a place to relax & enjoy an amazing selection brand they use to make super premium coffee. Yes, the quality of their beans have to be at the level of a European cafe. The nose was clean & crisp with perfect balance. Just smelling the coffee puts a smile on my face. But drinking this coffee is something special. I highly recommend your first sip to be a calm mindful one. Why? You need to give a little respect to the craft. You deserve the pleasure enjoy all aspects of their high quality coffee & just relax. Don't rush this. Savour the experience as this is not Tim Horton, Starbucks, second cup etc - this is what coffee should be in this city. This is also a great place for a first or any date for that matter. & don't be shy, the owners are young & outgoing friendly down to earth people who love to hear (good or bad - not that this happens lol) feedback from their clients as their focus is that the customer experience is like no other.
Came into a busy shop on Boxing Day. They served the line up quickly. The tables cleared out by the time we got our drinks. The Freddo Noel (hot) is a delicious peppermint coffee. The hot chocolate was perfect. Their frothed milk is the creamiest I have ever seen. Friendly & efficient service. Wonderful place to visit. Highly recommended.
Last stop in the morning for some matcha latte. It is quite a long walk from the nearest metro station but I did enjoy the walk to the location. Settled to have my drink to go. The matcha was smooth as expected with some sweetness. Enjoyed the walk back to the metro station sipping on my matcha drink. I wish I could have visited again to try thr Freddo latte!

I have to be honest that the freddo matcha & freddo cappuccino are both overrated & not worth it. Even if the proceeds are meant to go for good cause, the fundraising product should still be something enjoyable. For me personally, it was just half glass of foam & then half glass of ice with very little drinkable content. Their other products seem ok so I'll leave it for others to find out. Service was great btw.
TikTok trendy, this $8.05 matcha actually felt like drinking cardboard after the first satisfying sip. Maybe the coffees are better but this matcha was not it, I actually feel thirstier after every sip with the amount of foam they put for aesthetics. Indoor, outdoor seating, good vibes just bad drink
Service is really nice but drinks kinda suck, like espresso based drinks are bitter & a bit too dark & uninteresting. Matcha's don't taste like matcha at all. The space is cool 😎
Vibes are good outside in the sun & the viral matcha freddo with the foam is good, especially the foam, but quite sweet, so maybe ask for less sweet if you don't like your drinks too sweet. But we waited for it for like a good 20-30 minutes... wouldn't do that again... there's enough other good coffee shops in mtl IMO... ya sure you don't get a little foam pour show by a hot barista everywhere but like... 🤷🏼♀️

I'm new to the city & still exploring, but the drinks at this café have truly captured my taste buds! I stumbled upon it while searching for the best coffee shops in Montreal, & since it was in a neighborhood I hadn't visited yet, I thought, "Why not?" Little did I know that I would return for their Freddo Matcha, & then I discovered their specialty drink, the Greek Freddo Cappuccino, which I also loved & became my second favorite. Since it's not super close to me, I usually spend a few hours there working & enjoying my drinks. I get both drinks every time I am there & a fresh pastry on the side. Beyond the amazing drinks & pastries, the warm atmosphere really draws you in. The staff are incredibly friendly as well as the owners, remembering your name & favorite drink, making you feel like part of the community. I usually try every place once, maximum twice, & then move on to discover new spots, but I can't resist coming back here. The taste of their drinks is something I look forward to every time, & since I am still a bit homesick, this place makes me feel welcomed & at ease. They consistently deliver great quality & appreciate all their customers. Thank you, Alphabet!
This place was at the top of my list to visit on my Montreal itinerary, & it did not disappoint! The server was very attentive & sweet, as were the workers (one of the co-owners was working, & made my drink, he had the most charming energy & morale; & the server knew sign language!). That is top customer service! The drink was very good, the vibe was good, & they create a "be present" charm to their cafe, to get people to engage with each other. I will definitely be coming back! I wish they do more unique drink concoctions like the Pink Drink, year round!
I visited Café Alphabet for the first time yesterday after seeing it all over social media, & I WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK! I tried the matcha, even though I'm not usually a fan, & IT WAS AMAZING. But what truly sets Alphabet apart isn't just the incredible drinks; it's the people. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles & a genuine sense of hospitality. They take the time to make sure every cup is perfect, & you can tell they really care about & enjoy what they do. The aesthetic inside is stunning, & between their unique coffee blends & trendy merch, I honestly felt like I had been transported to a coffee shop in Greece! If you're looking for a coffee shop with amazing drinks & even better vibes, you absolutely need to visit Alphabet. You won't be disappointed!

Went yesterday. Music was a little bit too loud, a little hard to make conversations. They focus a lot on their relationship with their clients, they socialize with every client that comes inside. I find it smart. The cookies or « Brookie » are so good, best one I've had in a while. Their fredo drinks are really good, but if you don't like the taste of strong coffee taste ask for more creamer & sugar, coz it is strong. I appreciate the fact that they don't use paper straws because they become soggy so easily , I think they use sugarcane straws. the place is clean & pretty.
My first visit to Alphabet Cafe was nothing short of amazing! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere & charming decor that made us feel right at home. We ordered a latte & a flat white, & both drinks were absolutely perfect. The coffee was rich, smooth, & expertly crafted. You can tell they use high-quality beans . The latte had the perfect balance of creaminess & coffee flavor, while the flat white was velvety & full-bodied. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed & making us feel welcome. The overall vibe of the cafe is cozy & inviting, ideal for catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee. I also appreciated their commitment to sustainability, with eco-friendly practices evident throughout the cafe. It's clear that Alphabet Cafe cares about both their customers & the environment. I can't wait to return & try more of their menu offerings. Alphabet Cafe has definitely earned a new regular customer. Highly recommended!
