I stumbled upon Cafe Alphabet while walking through the neighborhood & decided to stop in for a quick afternoon pick-me-up. The atmosphere is very laid back & the decor has a unique charm that makes it easy to sit with a book for a few hours. My latte was prepared perfectly with the right temperature & a smooth finish. The staff seemed friendly & welcoming to everyone who walked through the door. I will definitely be making this a regular spot for my remote work days because the seating is comfortable & the wifi is reliable.
I am a bit of a coffee snob so I am usually pretty critical of local cafes. Cafe Alphabet really impressed me with their consistency & attention to detail. The espresso has a nice depth to it & they do not burn the milk which is a common issue elsewhere. The tables are spaced out well enough that you do not feel crowded by other customers. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood business that deserves to succeed. I plan on bringing my friends here next weekend to check out their food options.
Honestly one of the best places to grab a drink in the city. The vibe at Cafe Alphabet is super chill & the lighting is perfect if you need to focus on some computer work. I ordered an iced americano & a pastry which were both fresh & delicious. It is clear that the owners put a lot of heart into the design & the menu selection. It is not often you find a business that balances great products with such a genuine friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
The coffee here is genuinely excellent & stands out from the other chains in the area. I appreciate that they focus on quality beans & seem to have baristas who actually care about the craft. The space itself is quite bright & clean which I find refreshing for a local business. It is a bit busy during the morning rush but that is to be expected given how good the service is. Prices are fair for the quality you receive & I have never had a bad experience here in the few months I have been visiting.
Fantastic coffee to grab, on your way home or to work. Not that many chairs to sit in, but the atmosphere is really nice & lively. There is parking space a bit further down the street accross the traffic lights, but If you want to taste the closest thing to coffe in Greece, or you are Greek visiting or living in Montreal, it is a must!
