Review Summary

Overall, CA LEM Crèmerie Creamery is described as a beloved spot with generous portions and a rotating lineup of flavors, including blue matcha with blueberry, taro, strawberry lychee, pandan coconut, yuzu lemon and lavender honey; the soft serve is often velvety, though some hard ice cream batches are icy and not always worth the price, and a few flavors can be too sweet or artificial. Sorbets are mixed, some made with syrup rather than real fruit and others praised for taste, while lemon sorbets can be hard. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, but hours and consistency vary and online indications of being open occasionally clash with staff presence. The option for lactose-free or vegan flavors is appreciated, with many noting upbeat staff and weekly new flavors, making CA LEM Crèmerie Creamery a go-to for dessert in Montreal, even as some visits mention small portions or ambiance and cleanliness concerns.

Probably my favourite ice cream & sorbet spot in Montreal! They put generous scoops for the price you pay, & the staff have always been friendly to me :)

It's so hard to pick just one flavour, so I always want to go back & try something new haha! So far, I've tried (& can strongly recommend) the strawberry-litchi, the pandan-coconut, yuzu-lemon & lavender-honey (although this one had a bit too many lavender buds for my taste)

The service was excellent - the person running the counter was patient & knew their products well. That being said, the hard ice cream was very icey & not worth the price point.

Non generous portions- please see photo for size I was served today. I told the person serving me that I came here one week ago & my ice cream cone was twice the size. She told me they are always served the soft serve small like that - guess I won't be going back if I have to pay 8 dollars for such a small serving.

This flavour was very good, I didn't even know what was pandan before !!

I was just sad to see only 2 vegan flavours (both hard ice cream) at this location. This chain usually has nice & original ones !

I had ice cream here about 4-5 times because my boyfriend loves sweets. He loves ice cream that extremely sweet. Staff : friendly Ice cream : ordinary quality not matching the price. Personally each ice cream I took here was too sweet. This time I took soft icecream strawberry 🍓. It tasted like sugar & artificial strawberries. I tried the Cotton candy flavor , not edible for me. Just way too sweet. Chocolate tasted like cheap chocolate ice cream from a regular grocery store. Coffee Viet was the only one I found acceptable. Overall it's too sweet & too ordinary.. for the price they sold for ? It becomes too expensive when the quality is not there. Doesn't count the color of the ice cream dye that make my tongue became whatever color of ice cream I took. That's scary! I don't think I will take anything from here anymore. I have tried enough. Each time was disappointing for me.

Decent selection of vegan ice creams & sorbets. Creative Asian-inspired flavours. Pandan Coconut & Strawberry Litchi were tasty. Generous scoops. Nice location in Atwater Market, near the canal.
