Went for dinner on the first night of arriving to the hotel. The vibe was really nice, but the music was a bit too loud. Especially being in close proximity to other tables, you have to raise your voice to speak to who you're dining with. Being vegetarian, I knew my options would be limited. I was surprised though, to see that so many pasta dishes etc had veal stock in it. My only options were one pasta dish & the veg pizza. I ended up getting the pizza, which was good (although I was expecting fresh mozzarella & not shredded). My fiance had the seabass which he enjoyed.
Our last morning, we wanted to order room service for breakfast, but when I called to order this wasn't an option as they only had two servers. I can understand that, but maybe it's worth mentioning to the front desk so that they have the right info for guest, because the front desk had informed me that this was an option when I asked how room service worked on our first night. We ended up just doing pick-up. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was really good, although I had to ask to remove 2 different kinds of meat. I asked to add an extra egg instead & they obliged...but a vegetarian version would be nice, so that the price reflects. We also had the pancakes. The quantity was sufficient, however, it was supposed to come with fruit & it had exactly 6 blueberries, & was also missing the butter. For $16 pancakes, I would definitely expect a good amount of fruit.
Please consider adding a couple more veg options... Even one vegan option would be nice.
The food needs eat much improvement!
The dishes were not appetizing & tasted very average.
Stuff was accommodating cause one of the pizzas we ordered specified that it had meat.
Nice location nice restaurant good needs improvement
Went to this place multiple times for the last 12 months & every time I had Breakfast there only. Currently, they offer new menu & I must admire that quality of food, variety of dishes became poor. Additionally, it was first time, but the restaurant was filled with the smell of burned fat from the kitchen. I would recommend administration to take care of the environment people work in & consider to return some dishes from previous menu.
Gorgeous Italian Brasserie!! Delicious dishes. Accommodating & welcoming staff. Great ambiance. 10/10 service & food.
We went there yesterday & here's what I wanna say. The Napolitana pizza there is amazing! The chef was kind enough to add onions upon our request free of charge, special thanks for that. Mushroom tagliatelle was also quite good. Looking forward to trying other dishes!
The food is not great for the price you pay. The staff is really friendly & the spot is really nice for a date or dinner with friends. The portions are small for what you pay for the dishes. The drink selection is good & priced decent.
Appetizers were great (oysters, cacio Pepe arancini, focaccia, but meatballs were dry & cold); the main dishes were average (osso buco was fatty, pasta wasn't hot). Was not given the best table for four people including pregnant woman. They could have given a table with more space. It was tight.
Disappointing experience that did not meet expectations. Highway robbery considering the prices they're charging for the food you receive.
This is my second time here, & have tried three of five pastas. It is safe to say, the pasta here is horrible. All three pasta dishes were salty, pasta noodles uncooked (way before el dente).
The appetizers were better than the entrees & their only saving grace. For appetizers, we ordered burrata, calamari & focaccia. These were the only things enjoyable.
Undercooking pasta does not mean al dente. The Ragu di Cinghiale was undercooked & salty. Couldn't even finish the dish, most was taken to go. Server did not care enough to ask about the food. The food here is clearly not consistent.
Highly recommend the black cod fish here, I think it's the best dishes out of all! It's soft tender & quite juicy. & the sides flavor up the fish even more! The pasta & fried calamari also good!
The primary restaurant within the Hilton Garden Inn (there is also a popular Mexican taqueria called Pancho), Blandino has a beautiful upscale ambiance far beyond what you would expect for a Hilton hotel resto. Very open & spacious, with a large bar in the center, an elevated section away from the windows (which is a little dark & more intimate) & a spacious window facing section with a combination of banquets & tables. All in all, very well appointed.
We enjoyed a lunch time meal but only order two dishes: the Burger & the Caesar Salad. Both options were very good.
Frankly, if allowed I would have given the restaurant 4.5 stars...the reason for 4.0 star rating is because it was (1) lunch time (& relatively quiet) & (2) although a group of 5 we ordered two options (burger or salad) so I could truly evaluate the meals.
Service was very good & friendly. Worth a visit. Enjoy!
What a lovely place for breakfast brunch or lunch. Great outdoors sittings & wonderful service.
Check the Menu it is very intresting , i had the granola Bloomfield that was delicious.
Restaurant offers many choices of egg plates.
Can't wait to go back & try more dishes!
Good service but some dishes are very very small portions for the price. Drinks are ok.
For our second dinner at Blandino's we sampled a bit more widely than our first visit. The dinner menu is small but interesting. There is something for most tastes. The quality of the pastas was outstanding in contrast to the secondi which was less impressive. Service was friendly, attentive & not at all oppressive although the lead waiter's suggestion to my wife that she add truffles to her wild mushroom penne without telling her that it added $25 to the price of her dish smacked a bit of upselling. Dessert was memorable & the espresso very authentic. This restaurant is large & music is loud so it is not the place for a quiet or intimate evening. I do feel that despite great food & great service it is not great value. Not all of us had three courses & only two had wine yet our tab averaged $80 per capita before the tip. For a meal where three of the four main dishes were pasta, the bill seemed excessive.
Service was excellent. Wait staff is fast & accomodating. The drinks are sub par & overpriced for the quality of alcohol used. The food is fantastic, portions are good depending on what you order but again a little expensive. Pricing is probably industry standard for most dishes but lacks the punch required to justify the pricing.
the salad I had did not have goat cheese but blue cheese,, which was disappointing because I was under the impression it came with goat cheese...my friend had the gnocchi she said it was good....we were disappointed that no bread comes with the meal....the waiter was efficient & attentive..it would be nice to have a few more meatless dishes....over all 3.5/5
Ambiance ⭐️ Tableware ⭐️ Waitress was knowledgeable, salad was limp but tasty, pasta dishes were skimpy but robust, no rosemary on the rosemary focaccia, desserts were golden 😋
