Quite underwhelmed. Food was a-okay...... Second visit - business lunch - & much better experience! Attentive & efficient service. Ordered blanca pizza - was excellent. Will come back.
This type of commentary is what one might call disingenuous & inflammatory, the kind that does more to tarnish reputations than to offer constructive criticism.
As someone who visits this restaurant almost daily whether during my lunch breaks or in the evenings with friends. I feel compelled to provide a truthful account of what I consistently experience here.
The manager, Ben, is not only warm & welcoming toward customers, but also remarkably respectful & attentive to his staff. In fact, I've witnessed countless interactions between him & the team, & what stands out is the genuine camaraderie & mutual support they share. This is not a cold, transactional work environment. it's a place where the staff genuinely enjoy working together. They even organize team outings & social gatherings, which is hardly the sign of a toxic or disrespectful workplace.
Your review, on the other hand, seems deeply personal & frankly, selective in its outrage. You gave the food a 5, the service a 5, & yet awarded the restaurant only 1 star, citing a supposed incident that no one else seems to have witnessed. That contradiction alone is puzzling. If the service was truly'excellent,' then how does it align with your description of an unprofessional & hostile environment?
To me, & likely to others who read this, it appears less like a genuine concern for employee well-being & more like an attempt to target an individual by publicly harming their reputation. & perhaps more troubling, it disregards the broader consequences of such claims: the impact they may have not only on this business, but on the livelihoods & mental health of the people who dedicate their days & nights to making this restaurant the welcoming space that it is.
I cannot speak for what you may or may not have witnessed in passing, but I can speak for the consistency of my experience here, which has always been marked by professionalism, kindness, & dedication from the kitchen staff to the servers, & yes, from Ben as well.
A single comment, especially one with such emotional weight, should be made with care & truthfulness. Anything less does more harm than good.
Lovely place. Bright & airy. Bar looks great. Thought that on a Saturday at noon they would offer a brunch menu but it was only lunch which was disappointing. Italian type fare which was a good but nothing exceptional. Service was great. Good for large parties.
Went there for lunch. Had the Blandino pizza, to greasy to my taste. The vegetarian pizza did not smell good, we could not figure out if the artichokes just smelled unusual or were actually bad. The flap steak seemed good, I regret not taking that. We had ordered fried calamari as appetizer, one for each table. Without asking, they brought them at the same time as the main course, & they only brought one. They said they did this because not everyone had ordered appetizers. But we had clearly said it was for sharing. & the calamari were cold, so they were clearly ready long before. We got the second order of calamari at the end of the meal. But those were good, they were hot. My daughter had a burger, very good too. We had drinks at the beginning, the service was erratic. We got two sets of drinks but me & my daughter were still waiting for our drinks. Her drink was sitting on the bar for 10 minutes until they got my drink prepared & brought the two together.
I rated 4 for the atmosphere but it's hard to tell, we were almost alone in the restaurant.
Located in the "Homewood Suites by Hilton" so they have the same level of cleanliness & service which are just perfect. The food was delicious. For a lunch menu they should include a drink & dessert as usual.
I went for an early lunch with a girlfriend of mine, & was quite disappointed in the quality of food, considering the price point. I ordered the bruschetta, & the bread was stale. As my main course, the salmon tartare, which tasted like it was frozen & defrosted, not fresh at all. My bill came out to $120 including tip for two glasses of wine, bruschetta, & tartare. I don't mind paying that if the food is worth it. In this case, definitely not. I personally will not be going back to eat there. Very disappointed.

La faible note concerne la lenteur extrême du service de la cuisine à notre table, pour un lunch d'affaire. 1h05 pour se faire servir 3 plats & les 3 livrés en 2 temps. La serveuse s'est excusé plusieurs fois pour la lenteur & il n'y avait pourtant que 4 tables à l'heure du lunch. Elle nous a offert gracieusement le café & cannoli, ce qui a été bien gentil de sa part. Pour les reste, l'ambiance est bonne, bon décor & nourriture très bonne. Par contre lesnportions de pâtes sont très pingre. Pour la quantité, on repassera. Prix trop cher...voir les factures pour vous donner une idée. Parking gratuit au sous-sol, gardez votre reçu du repas pour vous faire valider votre ticket à la réception de l'hôtel. Oui, le restaurant fait partie de l'hôtel. On y retourne ? Possible, si ils engagent du personnel plus rapide aux cuisines...
I went here for lunch on the weekend. I didn't realize that on Saturdays & Sundays, they only serve brunch before 3pm. I went there for pizza, but they don't take pizza orders until 3pm. The food was okay. The servers were a bit blunt & robotic, but they do have free parking in the basement, so I'll be back.
Blandino est situé près de la 15 & autour de beaucoup de commodités. Ils ont un stationnement intérieur gratuitement sous le hilton donc n'allez pas dans un autre ! Situé près de la station Namur donc parfait si vous êtes en transport en commun. La nourriture est bonne : c'est standard, mais efficace ! La pizza est copieuse donc parfaite pour partager, pour une grande appétit, ou si vous voulez luncher pour le lendemain. Personnel souriant & charmant.

Nous avons célébré un événement avec un groupe de 20 personnes pour le lunch; l'accueil était chaleureux & le personnel a été accommodant pour gérer notre groupe. Les portions étaient généreuses & l'ambiance du restaurant sympathique avec une décoration soignée & une atmosphère conviviale.
Great place to have a business lunch, good food. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. My only complaint is that the room was cold, the space should be better heated.
Went for lunch & it was a really nice discovery. In an area not well served in term of good restaurants, this spot is a must visit. Delicious food (burrata & focaccia were exceptional). The prices slightly expensive but remain within reasonable range for this type of higher scale venue with a nice decor & very good service.
The primary restaurant within the Hilton Garden Inn (there is also a popular Mexican taqueria called Pancho), Blandino has a beautiful upscale ambiance far beyond what you would expect for a Hilton hotel resto. Very open & spacious, with a large bar in the center, an elevated section away from the windows (which is a little dark & more intimate) & a spacious window facing section with a combination of banquets & tables. All in all, very well appointed.
We enjoyed a lunch time meal but only order two dishes: the Burger & the Caesar Salad. Both options were very good.
Frankly, if allowed I would have given the restaurant 4.5 stars...the reason for 4.0 star rating is because it was (1) lunch time (& relatively quiet) & (2) although a group of 5 we ordered two options (burger or salad) so I could truly evaluate the meals.
Service was very good & friendly. Worth a visit. Enjoy!

Came for dinner in May & food was fantastic as was the ambiance. Lunch was a big disappointment. Food was really averge, gnocchi undercooked, no choice of side salad you had to take a meal salad which at best was ok. Honestly if you are going to serve lunch you need to rework your lunch menu
What a lovely place for breakfast brunch or lunch. Great outdoors sittings & wonderful service.
Check the Menu it is very intresting , i had the granola Bloomfield that was delicious.
Restaurant offers many choices of egg plates.
Can't wait to go back & try more dishes!
Blandino restaurant is gorgeous! The intricate tiling, the expanses of marble, the loads of natural light. Our waitress & waiter were competent, polite & friendly, a pleasure! Our lunches (pasta with wild mushrooms with truffles & the roasted cod special) were delicious. We can't wait to come back for breakfast with our husbands, the menu was mouthwatering! We were pleasantly surprised & very happy with our first visit, the first of many, I hope!
