Blandino is a neighbourhood Italian inspired seasonal bistro, bar, and patio that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as take out. Its name pays homage to Carmelo Blandino, a Montreal based artist whose work adorns the side of the building. Atelier Zébulon Perron created a nostalgic yet contemporary design that changes as the day progresses. The atmosphere allows for a comfortable corporate lunch meeting or a casual cocktail amongst friends. Come in for a quick coffee, a meal, or an aperitivo. Delivery is also available.

Service could have been better. We ordered quite shortly after sitting down, & our appetizers came around 1 hour later. When the appetizers arrived, the arancini wasn't warm.
The mushroom pasta was good, but I was told the other meals were relatively bland.
The Caesar salad was very overdressed to the point of being soggy. The calamari were good. The main course arrived while we're still eating our appetizers. The meatballs were tasty but arrived cold & the pasta was cold & undercooked. The meatballs & pasta were remade but at that point we were underwhelmed. We took leftovers home - left without dessert. The server was friendly & apologetic but at $100 plus tip it was a pricy meal & disappointing.

Went for dinner on the first night of arriving to the hotel. The vibe was really nice, but the music was a bit too loud. Especially being in close proximity to other tables, you have to raise your voice to speak to who you're dining with. Being vegetarian, I knew my options would be limited. I was surprised though, to see that so many pasta dishes etc had veal stock in it. My only options were one pasta dish & the veg pizza. I ended up getting the pizza, which was good (although I was expecting fresh mozzarella & not shredded). My fiance had the seabass which he enjoyed.
Our last morning, we wanted to order room service for breakfast, but when I called to order this wasn't an option as they only had two servers. I can understand that, but maybe it's worth mentioning to the front desk so that they have the right info for guest, because the front desk had informed me that this was an option when I asked how room service worked on our first night. We ended up just doing pick-up. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was really good, although I had to ask to remove 2 different kinds of meat. I asked to add an extra egg instead & they obliged...but a vegetarian version would be nice, so that the price reflects. We also had the pancakes. The quantity was sufficient, however, it was supposed to come with fruit & it had exactly 6 blueberries, & was also missing the butter. For $16 pancakes, I would definitely expect a good amount of fruit.
Please consider adding a couple more veg options... Even one vegan option would be nice.
Mediocre food at best. My gnocchi pasta had way too much red sauce & not enough meat. Frankly it felt like it was cooked earlier in the day & they had just warmed it up in the microwave.
Amazing atmosphere, well thought out & cozy. Very convenient for folks staying in the area. Great service too! After a long travel day I fully expected to only be able to eat a Caesar Salad with no croutons (I have celiac disease & can't have gluten). Upon telling the server about my allergy & ordering a salad, she graciously pointed out an option for gluten free pasta (penne) with their truffle veal cream sauce. I accepted the recommendation & even though I was hesitant, the meal was amazing & I did not get sick! Would recommend coming here. My husband's meal also looked delicious.
Food is horrid: lots of water at the bottom of the pasta plate, tasteless sauce, overcooked cardboard fries, frozen burger patties, list goes on. Service was ok. Place was not busy. Overpriced for the quality you get & disappointing.

I've dined here over 10 times under the previous ownership the past few years & even planned a large event here in the past. I was always impressed with the service & food quality. I'd recommend this place to friends & clients all the time. After my last experience at Blandino I will no longer be recommending this restaurant. I planned a corporate dinner here & we had to leave after our drinks & find another restaurant because service was very slow & almost half the menu was not available. We were not advised of this beforehand, instead as people took turns placing their order, we kept being told those items weren't available that night. (Multiple pastas & pizzas not available, no steak filet, no focaccia) It was an unacceptable experience & pretty embarrassing to have 10+ people there experience what we did. The waitress & manager did not show empathy or consideration for our feedback & just told us they were going through a menu change. I grabbed the bill for our drinks & we took an uber across the street to Table 51 where food was excellent & they accommodated a last minute group with amazing service. Oh & parking is free across the street too!
Some of the worst Italian/Fusion we've had in decades. Calamari - over fried & to salty. We had to ask for something to dip it in. They brought what looked like day-old thousand island dressing. I had the Cesar salad with dry chicken breast. Over half of the serving was breadcrumbs. My wife had the seafood pasta with lobster bisque sauce. Tasteless with overcooked noodles & a grand total of 3 medium-sized shrimp. Waitress asked if everything was okay. I asked her if she really wanted my honest opinion. So I informed her of the above as we just couldn't eat it. The night manager said it was a new menu they were trying out & appreciated our feedback & took care of it. People, you sometimes have to be honest with the wait staff. When a meal doesn't taste good or isn't up to expectations, you have to sometimes let them know.
We had the best dinner here! Andy, the sommelier, took great care of us suggesting amazing red & white wines. We ordered the fungi pasta, vegetarian pizza & a large pesce crudo & loved everything. We even ordered a second pasta to take home! The music & vibe was very hip. I loved the playlist. Great atmosphere. We may even go back here tonight, that's how much we loved it!
We picked this place because the ambiance was nice & expected excellent food quality & service especially since it was inside a hotel. The atmosphere was nice. We were a group of 9 people. 4 of us ordered pasta, 4 of us ordered pizza & 1 of us ordered the salmon. The salmon was excellent BUT too bad the asparagus was old & stringy (not edible). One of the pizzas was burnt (black) around the edges & underneath -- we asked the waitress about it & she said it was good to eat. Not happy with her response, we asked for the manager --> as soon as we showed it to him, he said it wasn't acceptable & that he would replace it right away. In general, the food was good but not amazing (except for the salmon). We were very surprised that the waitress told us the burnt pizza was good to eat instead of replacing it. Since we dined at the restaurant, we get free parking upon presentation of the receipt at the front desk of the hotel --> to our surprise, the voucher they gave us didn't work. We came in 4 separate cars & only 1 out of the 4 vouchers worked. The other 3 did not. We got a message saying the voucher was not valid & asked us to pay $12, so 2 of us paid it. The last one of us went back to the front desk to find out why & they told us that the voucher they gave us is only valid for 5 minutes!!! So they had to re-validate our voucher. This time the voucher worked but the gate did not open, so an employee showed up & asked if we were from the hotel or restaurant, then he scanned the gate to open it for us. We could not believe that they only validated the vouchers for 5 minutes. They said it was to prevent scammers; fine, but then at least they should have advised us ahead of time so that we wouldn't be shocked & frustrated when trying to exit. Overall we did not have a good impression on our first visit; not sure if will return
I love eating at Blandino Brasserie because it perfectly captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine. The ambiance is warm & inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals & special occasions. Each dish is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, & you can truly taste the passion & care that goes into every bite. The pasta is always cooked to perfection, the sauces are rich & flavorful, & the desserts are simply irresistible. Whether I'm enjoying a classic Margherita pizza or indulging in their homemade tiramisu, Blandino Brasserie consistently delivers a delightful dining experience.

The place is very nice & clean, & the manager is extremely friendly, I had mushrooms pasta was awesome & the burger was a good portion. The tartare was so good... the music let you have a good chat with the people at the bar! The ambiance is very chill!
Appetizers were great (oysters, cacio Pepe arancini, focaccia, but meatballs were dry & cold); the main dishes were average (osso buco was fatty, pasta wasn't hot). Was not given the best table for four people including pregnant woman. They could have given a table with more space. It was tight.
We had an amazing meal & very attentive service with great cocktails. Hassle free indoor parking is a bonus! The mushroom tagliatelle is a must, made from fresh pasta in house & the focaccia was a pleasant surprise with its house whipped butter! Will definitely be going back!!
The food we got served was awful! The meatballs were over seasoned, the calamari was tasteless & the breading wasn't even on there properly. The pasta we got served was UNDERCOOKED, NO FLAVOUR!! I would not recommend this place to anyone else nor would I return. We also waited an 1 & a half for our food which was awful! However the server who served us was great & the entire team of servers were amazing!!
