Je viens de découvrir un joyau au coeur de notre dame à Montréal. la Brasserie 701.
Depuis mon appel pour faire une réservation, Naki a été très accueillante & très agréable.
On arrivant c'est elle même qui m'a accueilli & m'a préparé ma table. Avec une attention & un grand sourire.
La cuisine est très raffinée, des plats délicieux & soigneusement bien présentés.
Je tiens à remercier tout le personnel pour leur professionnalisme & leur dévouement & surtout à leur amour pour ce travail. Je vous félicite tous & à leur tête le maître d'hôtel Mr Gavin.
Un grand Merci à Tristan, un serveur hors du commun, un artiste dans ce qu'il fait. Bravo

We had a great time at the Christmas brunch buffet, & our waitress Melissa was a darling!
Our party of six was comfortably seated in the corner, & we each enjoyed the food that appealed to us. The ooey gooey chocolatey marshamallowy cookie was especially tasty!

We visited for the $95 Christmas prix-fixe menu. While the food was high quality & well-prepared, the service was unfortunately a major letdown.
Our 8:00 PM reservation turned into a 45-minute wait to be seated. After ordering, there was a staggering 70-minute gap between our hot entree & our mains. During this time, our server never checked on us or provided an update. We eventually spoke to a manager who confirmed the kitchen had missed our order entirely.
To their credit, the manager apologized & discounted one meal, which we appreciated. However, be aware that portions are quite small for the price point. If you go, the flavors are great (especially the beef cheek), but the pacing & communication need significant improvement for a festive holiday experience.

We had a very good breakfast, with fair prices considering it's located inside the Place d'Armes Hotel & right in front of Notre Dame. We ordered avocado toast, forest omelette, & chicken waffle, all were enjoyable. The service was good, although they were short-staffed during our visit, which was noticeable.
The bar is very high in Montreal, so I save a 5-star rating for truly exceptional experiences.

Waouh ! De l'accueil par Adele au café fait par Taryn, le service de Melisa, Ayman est juste sublime, rien à dire, je repartirais là sans hésiter aussitôt que j'aurais la chance ! Mention spécial aux cocktails de Felix ! On sens la belle énergie d'équipe, je recommande vraiment :)🎃

Had such a great experience at Brasserie 701 thanks to Melissa. She was warm, attentive, & made our meal feel really special. She checked in at all the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. She even fixed our wobbly table
