this was such a good brunch spot. our server adelle was so sweet & all the staff were so accommodating. the food was so good we loved the avocado toast & pancakes.

Brunch incroyable à la Brasserie 701 🍳✨
Les plats sont bien présentés, savoureux & préparés avec des ingrédients de qualité. Le menu brunch offre de très bons choix, autant sucrés que salés, & tout est parfaitement exécuté.
Le cadre est magnifique, élégant & idéal pour un brunch en ville. L'ambiance est chic mais reste chaleureuse, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Le service est professionnel & attentionné du début à la fin. Une excellente adresse à Montréal pour un brunch mémorable !
Okay I'm being generous with my 3, I have reviewed a lot of places good & bad. This is a reason I have 3.3million views of my reviews & am in the top 5% of global google reviewers.
1st the good
1) Taste of the food was good, well seasoned
2) Beautiful Atmosphere
The Bad -
1) I understand I was only one customer at the time of visit but that is no excuse for poor service, more in the breakdown.
2) Food came out cold, the butter didn't even melt, clumped up on my steak & my veggies all cold.
3) Back to the service - Was missing a steak knife & the side sauce. Halfway through when a different sever saw that I was using a table knife & was missing my sauce corrected the issue then.
4) When ordering the most expensive thing on the menu & only being one person, it only takes 5 secs on your way past to make sure everything came out the way it was ordered.
5) As I'm being brought the bill is when I was finally asked how it was. Which I basically stated what I just wrote, I got back I will pass on your feedback.
So I too am just passing on the feedback. It was a shame, I was looking forward to this location.

This place was beautiful. The atmosphere is elegant & welcoming. The noise level is great for conversation. We really appreciated that it wasn't loud. They made my great uncles celebration very special. Service was excellent, she was attentive by topping up our wine when needed, a dish came out a bit cold they recooked the whole plate quickly enough, she also brought out a surprise dessert with sparkler. Food was excellent! The food was seasoned perfectly & everyone in our party was happy with taste & presentation. We tried the duck, octopus, Arctic char & lamb, plus a few desserts. Pavlova is incredible. Thank you again for a special evening.

Beau décor, super service & ambiance le fun. Point négatif : Malgré les bons ingrédients dans notre assiette, les techniques culinaires sont déficientes, ce qui fait que les plats goûtent pas grand chose. Pour moi, ce n'est pas un bon resto français.

Went for brunch & this did not disappoint!! Absolutely amazing food. We did not book a reservation but was able to sit at the bar & it was perfect! Great staff & even better food!
