I highly recommend the duck confit salad. Done PERFECTLY. That was my partner's dish & I couldn't help but keep sneaking bites. My braised beef was quality too, but if you're into duck, go for that! & they were impressively fast in the kitchen, food was served pleasantly quickly. I'd definitely go again.

In complete honesty, this could easily have been a one star review. However, the way things were handled in the end turned it into a five star experience.

We had originally booked the private room for an important event with a group of 20 people, an occasion that meant a lot to us. Less than 24 hours before our reservation, an issue arose. Unfortunately, it was an issue that was, at least in part, the restaurant's responsibility. Due to an internal issue the pre-arranged menu that had been discussed & approved in advance was suddenly no longer available.
All the ingredients were there for a stressful & disappointing last minute experience. However, thanks to Martin & the entire Brasserie 701 team, that stress quickly disappeared.

Martin personally reached out to reassure us that our reservation would still be honored. He promised to do everything possible to ensure the event would go smoothly. We decided to trust him & move forward with our reservation.

He backed up his words with actions, & that is exactly why what could have been a one star review became a five star review.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our server & host took care of every detail & ensured that we had everything we needed. We never felt neglected or overlooked.
The food was great, the atmosphere was welcoming, & the level of professionalism demonstrated by the entire team exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, they turned what could have been a very disappointing situation into a memorable & enjoyable experience.

Thank you to Martin & the entire Brasserie 701 team for your professionalism, responsiveness, & commitment to customer satisfaction. You & your team made this event truly memorable.
We would not hesitate to return & highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for exceptional service & a team that genuinely cares about its guests.

Nous avons déjeuné à la Brasserie 701 vers 15 h. Le service était professionnel & respectueux. Les plats étaient de qualité.

Le cadre est très agréable & propice à un bon moment. J'y ai découvert l'ombre chevalier, un poisson que je ne connaissais pas, & ce fut une excellente surprise : il était délicieux. Mon mari a lui aussi beaucoup apprécié son repas, avec une mention spéciale pour le velouté de panais & d'artichaut, alors qu'il n'aime habituellement pas les artichauts.

Une belle expérience culinaire que nous recommandons.
