We had the five course tasting menu with the Canadian wine pairings & it was, quite frankly, the most delicious meal I've had in Montreal. I was so impressed at the flavour & quality of every dish, each presented so elegantly without being over the top or gimmicky. Service was outstanding in every way. We specifically want to shout out our sommelier, who did such a stunning job with the wine pairings. This spot is NOT to be missed. I already look forward to returning! Thank you to Bouillon Bilk for an unforgettable anniversary dinner!

Took my wife here for her birthday. Service & atmosphere were both great. We were excited to try the tasting menu with wine pairing but honestly found it underwhelming. My wife's a foodie & a bit picky; I'm not, & I'll eat just about anything, we both felt about half the dishes were just'meh.' Beautiful presentation, but the flavors didn't always land.

An Exceptional Culinary Journey Worth the Splurge

We recently had the pleasure of dining at a luxurious restaurant offering an eight-course tasting menu with wine pairings-& it was nothing short of extraordinary.

From start to finish, the service was impeccable: attentive, professional, & perfectly paced. Each dish was a revelation-thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, & bursting with creativity. The flavors were refined & surprising, with combinations that felt both daring & harmonious. It was clear that every plate was the result of meticulous work & culinary artistry.

Of course, such an experience comes at a high price. But for a special occasion, it was absolutely worth it. We left feeling delighted, inspired, & grateful for the experience. If you're looking to treat yourself or celebrate something meaningful, this is a place to remember.

We opted for the five-course tasting menu with a non-alcoholic pairing & added a couple of side dishes. At one point, the waiter forgot to bring the first drink pairing with a course, but he quickly stepped aside & asked the bartender to create an entirely new drink to accompany one of our sides. They were very transparent with us, explaining that it was something experimental & even reassuring us that if we didn't like it, they would make us another. I really appreciated that level of creativity & open communication. The food itself was excellent, & overall, it was a wonderful experience that was absolutely worth the price.

They were very transparent about it being something new & even reassured us that if we did not like it they would prepare something else. My second time here. Still impressed by its food & service.

I order the tasting menu with 8 courses pairing with 5 glasses of Canadian wine( they called discovery ). During the 2.5 hours of dining I never get disappointed & bored but just enjoy the fun to explore the design of food.

The service stands out as one of the best in this trip.

The eight-course menu was absolutely delicious. Our regret was not starting with the wine pairing from the beginning. Halfway through, we realised the food was so good that it would have been a shame to have it without wine, so we added the pairing then. The wines themselves were not particularly outstanding tho. Additionally, there was a performance outside that was a bit too loud, which slightly disrupted the otherwise wonderful experience.

What a great experience. The food, wine & service were all amazing. We had the five course meal with the wine pairing. Everything was amazing. We especially loved the foie gras & the quail. The wines were all perfectly paired & very tasty.

I am fortunate enough to eat in restaurants all over the world, & this was the best meal I have had in a long time. Very thoughtful & creative combinations that seem I probably but somehow work like magic. The sommelier did a great job with the Discovery pairings, as well -- very fun & interesting!

A truly unforgettable experience! Credit to the front of house & kitchen teams alike. Party of 5 adults eating the 5 & 8 course tasting menus, with discovery & traditional wine pairings. Each course was delicious & well presented. Staff were extremely welcoming & knowledgeable about dishes/ingredients/wines. The atmosphere was classy. Some of the wine pairings were, shall we say, adventurous! Well done Buillon Bilk, we look forward to dining with you again!

We booked a table ahead. We were a group of three.

We all ordered the 8 course tasting menu. I also ordered the 7 discovery pairings. The 8 course tasting menu was supposed to be for people who came after 8pm but they made it available for us even though we were there quite early (5.30pm).

Absolutely loved each course! They all have rich flavors. The mushrooms were really tasty, with the right amount of crispy. Among the first five courses, scallop & quail were my favorite. For dessert, the cucumber ice cream was really refreshing. Definitely recommend! For the discovery tasting, I love the last ice cider the best. Fruity flavor but not too sweet. Perfect balance

The food was elevated & i love the fact that you can pair the food with non-alcoholics beverage. I choose the 5 services menu with non alcoholics beverages. I had a friend that took the discovery wines pairing. The food was amazing! However the pairings weren't all successful. I love the spot too, it's great for a date night or for any special occasion. It's a really good & unique experience :)

Must visit!! I did the 8 course tasting menu with the discovery wine pairings, which are all Canadian wines. The food was delicious, unique, & stunning. Each aspect was carefully thought out & not a detail overlooked. The staff was efficient, friendly, & perceptive. If you choose the tasting menu as well, be prepared to commit 2+ hours to fully enjoy the experience & don't drive. There's also a coat check, which alleviates the burden of the warming layers. I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant.

Unbelievable meal. 8 course tasting with 7 course wine pairing. This surpasses Daniel in NYC. The flavors & presentation were exquisite. The flavors innovative. The service impeccable. Somehow they have managed a fine technique in a comfortable & relaxing atmosphere. This foodie knows her food. Trust me.

First, Uber still had the old location. Eventually made it to 22 Catherine but we wandered a bit trying to find a sign & building number. That's on us. But restaurant was not easy to find at night. We had the 8 course meal with wine pairing. It was enjoyable & food was great overall…main meat duck dish was a bit forgettable. Not my favorite. I typically love course meals & been to many Michelin rated places in the past. For some reason, the pace seemed a bit too slow? Even though I've had 3 hour course meals before. Don't know what it is. Anyway, overall, we enjoyed the meal. Can't quite give 5 stars due to reasons above.
