Dans l'ensemble Boswell Brasserie Artisanale est percue comme une brasserie conviviale avec un large choix de bières, y compris en fût et des selections de microbrasseries, et une nourriture inventive appreciee par plusieurs, mais l'experience est variable: l'accueil et le service peuvent etre rapides et chaleureux quand l'affluence est moderée, tandis que certains trouvent l'ambiance trop ordinaire ou ressemblant a une cafeteria, et signalent des services peu attentifs ou des delais; les plats goutes comme le cod, le tartare de saumon ou les arancini plaisent, alors que d'autres suggestions comme certains desserts ou le burger peuvent decevoir et que la soupe a l'oignon peut etre trop sucree; dans l'ensemble, le potentiel est notable et beaucoup reviendraient pour les bières et l'ambiance, meme si des ameliorations sur le service et le confort des lieux sont evoquées.
Went for lunch during the weekend.
Food was very tasty, but small portions for the price. I had the cod (was amazing but too small even for lunch). My kids had the arancini & they were very good as well. They had a big variety of on tap beers which my husband enjoyed.
Our biggest disappointment was the atmosphere & the service.Feels like a cafeteria really. Not a place where I would want to go for drinks with friends. Concrete floors, cheap uncomfortable chairs.
2 adults & 3 kids. They bring 2 glasses of water only. Had to ask many times for drinks for the kids. Asked for spoons for the younger ones- seemed like we were asking for the moon. Definitely did not feel that kids are welcome. We were the first seated & pretty much last to be served & with great reluctance. Yikes!
Mediocre food (all non-fried food is prepped in advance at the other Boswell in Montreal). No table service. Our app plates were still on the table when we left. I will not return unless its to have a beer on the terasse in the summer (they make their own beer in Montreal, & its actually pretty good. Too bad the rest of the experience was so poor)

Boswell in Saint-Bruno used to be one of my favorite spots for great beer & solid food-but the service has really gone downhill. The beer selection is still strong (Tripel Boswell is a standout), & the food remains creative & tasty. But the daytime waitress acts like she's doing a photoshoot instead of serving tables-zero warmth, all attitude.
Worth a visit for the drinks, but the vibe has changed, & not for the better.
The food here is good, classic pub fare like burgers, fish & chips, poutine, as well as some more chic & trendy dishes, but the beer selection is understandably where this place really shines. If you've ever enjoyed a beer in your life, there's definitely something to suit your tastes here, whatever they may be.
We order the burger, a cocktail, & a beer. The beer was good, the burger was really salty! the cocktail was a solid 3/5. That being said, the staff was friendly & very attentive, & i love that i is dog friendly, & they were also super caring to my dog (gave her water & treats) . I would come back to grab a beer more than for food. #dogfriendly

Found this little gem while travelling through Montreal area. Great food. Good service. We would have purchased beer cans to go - be ut they were unavailable.
Biked out here to try a new place. I asked for the server to bring me a platter of 5 beers of their choosing. I was happy to try beers I normally wouldn't order & they ended up my fav of the day(some sours). The rest (pilsner, belgium, session IPA) were delicious !
