About

Bloom Sushi operates as a dedicated plant-based establishment focusing on the artistic reinterpretation of traditional sushi craft. The kitchen utilizes high-quality vegetables, fungi, and specialized plant proteins to replicate textures typically found in seafood-based nigiri and maki. Each dish features house-made sauces and fresh garnishes to build complex profiles without the use of animal products. The menu emphasizes seasonal ingredients that reflect current agricultural availability while maintaining a consistent aesthetic presentation for every plate served. By prioritizing sustainable sourcing and creative culinary techniques, the establishment maintains a distinct identity within the competitive sushi market. Guests encounter a curated selection of rolls that balance savory, sweet, and umami notes through precise preparation methods. This approach ensures that every menu item highlights the potential of entirely vegan ingredients in sophisticated Japanese-inspired preparations.

This place has really delicious sushi! It's a little pricey, but the ambiance of the restaurant is worth it! We had the Mushroom Crispy Rice & Crispy Gyoza for Appetizers, then ordered the following Blossom Roll (Yellow Wrap),'Salmon' Philadelphia Roll, Mr.Crunch Roll, & Mangoo Roll! The crispy rice was a little too chewy & thick for our liking, but portion sizes were ok. We went here for dinner & really enjoyed our date night!

This is a paradise for vegans. I have not eaten such flavourful sushi even in Japan. Some of my favourites are Delhi, Paradise, Samurai, rock & roll spicy. The starters are amazing too! The gyozas are must try! Over all a wonderful experience. The cocktails are good but on the very expensive side.

The staff were super kind & sweet. The vegan food was okay, the mango-orange roll is definitely nice. The konjac salmon was made well too, the texture & taste was perfect. Other dishes were okay.

This place exceeded our expectations! First, our reservation mix-up was met with grace. Amidst the Saturday night hustle, the host seamlessly found us a cozy table for two, transforming our reservation hiccup into a delightful evening. The efficient server guided us through a sushi adventure, with two generous platters that made our taste buds dance. The konjac salmon was a standout, remarkably resembling the real deal. Their vegan salmon, convincingly mirroring its non-vegan counterpart, is a masterful creation. It deceived all our senses with its authentic taste & texture, leaving us in awe. The appetizers boasted rich flavors, & the addition of pesto to the arancini was a succulent touch. The miso soup, gently warm with a subtle infusion of mushrooms, introduced a delightful twist to the classic, offering a sweet & savory dimension that we savored as our initial course. Opting for the platters allowed us to savor a diverse array of sushi, & every bite proved sensational-a culinary canvas adorned with edible flowers & vibrant rolls. Thanks to the spicy mayo, the sushi rolls remained moist & didn't require extra soy sauce. Paid parking (on street) was available not far away for our vehicle. Bloom Vegan Sushi delivered a delectable experience with prompt & professional service & a menu that left us thoroughly satisfied. We wholeheartedly recommend it & look forward to returning.

Got the chef omakase deluxe which was overall delicious. The rolls were all nice & creative, especially the mushroom one. The miso soup was a little off because the mushrooms in it were very sweet. The fried dumplings were nice especially with the sauce. Service was efficient but not as engaging as other places. Decor was pretty. Cocktails were so-so. The Kawai just tasted like strawberries & the whiskey one tastes like pears. The latter was well decorated though. The crystal wasn't bad.

My experience at this plant-based sushi spot was a mixed bag. Having tried other vegan sushi restaurants in Montreal, my expectations were high, but unfortunately, this place fell short. The sushi seemed to linger on the kitchen bar for too long, arriving at our table dry & hard to chew.

The Mr. Miyagi & spicy crab crispy rice cake were a letdown, with an overwhelming saltiness that made it impossible for my partner & me to swallow. The two futomaki rolls we ordered were equally disappointing in taste & presentation.

On a brighter note, the Inari crispy rice & gyoza were the saving grace of our meal. These dishes stood out as flavorful & satisfying. Drinks were good.
