Mon endroit préféré de Montréal, tous est délicieux, les meilleurs beignes/donuts que j'ai mangé.
It's easily the best glazed donut I've ever had. Have tried many of the other dipped & flavoured ones & they are good but nothing can beat the fresh $2 glazed donut
I'm not a fan of sweets, but this place, they're working with some type of sorcery here. The donuts? Absolute madness. It's a relief I don't live in Montreal, I would've been a daily visitor & easily be 50 pounds heavier. Jokes aside, delicious products, friendly service, & great value. What more do you want? A staple for me any time I visit Montreal. Would love for these guys to open up shop in Toronto. Favourite donut was the Boston cream. Spectacular, give me 30 more.
These are some of the best donuts I've ever had. I had a powdered jelly with a cup of coffee & the combination literally almost brought tears to my eyes because it was so good. The employees were also so friendly. 10/10-a must try!
Honestly the best donuts I've had in a long time. These guys know their stuff. Perfect.
I think these are the best donuts in Montreal. We tried quite a few places, but this one is really good. The dough, flavor, & aftertaste are great, & we don't taste the old oil. We love the Boston cream, maple bacon donut, original glazed donut, Kit Kat, raspberry, & Nutella. It's super messy when you eat the Nutella, but it's worth it. We will definitely come back for more.
I grew up in the town where the first Tim Horton's opened. Back in the day (about a million years ago), it was a special thing. My dad used to buy a box of donuts for a treat. My favourite was the glazed donut. Tim Horton's fed me on late nights in University. A friend of mine owns a bunch of franchises. I generally try to never eat at a Tim Horton's because their product is so far off what it was originally. Back in the day, you had a baker on staff who came in & made donuts all night. Today, Tim's is made in a factory, delivered frozen, & made edible by some means I really don't want to think about. Walking along St. Denis, there was a woman with two young boys scarfing down a couple of awesome looking donuts. I asked her where she got them from, & she told me it was around the corner, up the street & turn left again. That was enough calorie output for me to get there. These were the donuts of my childhood. Back when donuts (or beignets as they are called in Quebec) were delicious. They're generously sized, have a number (many numbers) of flavours, & they're fantastic. Made by hand, & with love.
Les meilleurs donuts de ma vie. Ils m'ont réconciliés avec les donuts. J'ai goûté un à l'érable qui était très bon. Le simpson est biensur un incontournable également 🤩
The original donuts here are so fire! Not overly glazed. Soft. Sweet. Just perfectly doughy. The one thing is that they will run out some days, so important to go really on the weekends or just call ahead. They have alot of creative & indulgent donuts. Unfortunately, they don't sell my favorite flavor which is Krispy Kreme is #1 for. Which is.... chocolate glazed with sprinkles. That sweet crunch is everything. This place reminds me a bit of Longs from Indy.
Bernie Beigne is a popular spot in Mile-End & that is not by chance but because their donuts is one of the very best in Montreal. You cannot go wrong with any of their donuts (they are uniformly great). & whether you want classic flavours (I am more of the classic type of donut lover) or more creative ones, you will find the donut that fits. Easily some of the best donuts in Montreal.
I had the Simpson donut, aptly named for the neon pink, sprinkled confections beloved by Homer Simpson. Being a fan of the Simpsons, I've always wanted to try one of those donuts, & I'm happy to say that I feel like I finally had my chance. Every childhood craving I had was satisfied when I took the first bite into Bernie Beigne's masterful creation. I was blown away by the delicate balance of sweetness & heartiness, the pillowy dough which was unbelievably soft yet also satiating. How did they do it? Surely they spent years perfecting their fermentation technique & their glaze-to-dough ratio. Whatever they did, it worked. Best donut I've ever had.
