This was my first time here & this place definitely lives up to the hype! We ordered the apple fritter & original glazed donut. The apple fritter was a lot bigger than we thought & the original glazed donut was probably the best donut I've ever had! 10/10 experience
Update: came back again. This time got another original glazed & the Simpson's donut😋
Although we didn't get the famous apple fritters( come early if you can, they sell out fast) the options we chose were fantastic! Our favorite was the skor donut.

If you're in Montréal & love donuts, you have to try Bernie Beigne.
The apple fritter is absolutely out of this world. It's perfectly crisp on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside, & packed with real apple flavour. Every bite has that perfect balance of sweetness & texture - not overly sugary, just rich, warm, & incredibly satisfying.
You can tell these donuts are made with care. Fresh, generous, & honestly one of the best apple fritters I've ever had.
If you're anywhere near Bernie Beigne, do yourself a favour & grab one… or two. You won't regret it.
Hands down the best doughnuts I've had. I drive 40 minutes just to visit Bernie's Donuts & it's worth every minute. The doughnuts are fresh, soft, & packed with flavour. The apple fritter was absolutely incredible. Easily some of the best doughnuts in Canada! 🍩
The best days nut shop in Montreal if not the province. If ever you get the chance order the apple fritter, it's the Unicorn of all donuts & the size of a catchers mitt.
You have to experience the apple fritters when they come out of the oven! Yum! I wish there were more cake donut flavors, but the main fonts have perfect texture & smooth glossy icing!

Amazing donuts & that apple fritter is no joke! Great prices & service. Not much area to sit & enjoy though so be expected to take it to go. We will be back for sure.
I've been to over 85 countries & have a crippling sweet-tooth. These are the BEST apple fritters bar none that I have ever had the pleasure to experience. I knew they were a hot commodity so I called ahead to catch them after they made their last batch for the evening. They are ENORMOUS & yet the same price as the rest. I'm more of a purist so the best donuts I had (aside from apple fritters) was the apple cinnamon filled, Boston cream was excellent & real quality cream, followed by powdered strawberry filled. All high quality ingredients that you could tell the difference. We need more places like this that emphasise high quality & not just the usual instagram BS* this entire box including the fritters was only $25. That's very good value for money in today's market for these quality of donuts. Next time I'd just get all fritters if I wanted the most bang for your buck!
Je suis allé cher bernie beigne je suis partie de granby pour avoir le Apple fritter & la on m'a dit qu il était pas près j ai attendu 30 min mais sa vaut vraiment la peine d attendre son tellement bon mais faut vraiment y allé presque a l ouverture si vous en voulez.sa vaut le détour & que dire de l accuille supe
I am from the States & I have tried donuts 🍩 from all over North America 🇺🇸 this family recipe is simply amazing! My wife & got to meet the owner & his family & they were truly delightful people. The Apple fritter is also AMAZING! There was a line out the door but it was definitely worth the wait, I highly recommend you go if you're ever in Montreal.
The dough they use for their donuts is incredible - so light, fluffy, soft, but still a substantial bite. Honestly, the perfect donut. Their flavors are also so good. We got the basic glazed & maple glazed & it was still good the next day. A warm donut here is just heavenly! 100% worth it. We're just bummed we got here too late & the apple fritter was all sold out.
Been about 4 years I'm coming here & I can say Bernie Beigne is the best to do it. Lines are long but the wait is short. Tip: If you like apple fritters, do whatever you can to get here. Seriously, run don't walk.
These guys know how to make donuts the real way, not only does it taste amazing they're very generous on the toppings. The best Apple fritter in city. Wait till you taste their carrot cake doughnut.
There are so many donut to choose from so my husband got half a dozen assorted & an apple fritter (not pictured). The donuts were soft & fluffy. The kids definitely enjoyed the colorful donuts & toppings however I found it to be ok & bit too sweet.
I'm not usually an apple fritter person but this apple fritter was amazing! Huge, probably 4x the size of a regular apple fritter & it was also soft & delicious. I had some leftover & it was still soft the next day. It's definitely a must get!
