The apple fritter is absolutely out of this world. It's perfectly crisp on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside, & packed with real apple flavour. Every bite has that perfect balance of sweetness & texture - not overly sugary, just rich, warm, & incredibly satisfying.
You can tell these donuts are made with care. Fresh, generous, & honestly one of the best apple fritters I've ever had.
If you're anywhere near Bernie Beigne, do yourself a favour & grab one… or two. You won't regret it.
My cousin brought me doughnuts from Bernie Beigne & I completely fell in love! You can tell they're super fresh & flavorful! Today, I placed an order myself & requested a mix.. I dove straight in, trying the boston cream (best custard I've tasted in a doughnut so far) & the double chocolate, which was really decadent. My son had a little bit of the M&M & chocolate sprinkles topped with the brownie.. he voted the M&M as his top! Can't wait to try the rest! My husband definitely loves the classics, where you can appreciate the freshness of the dough a lot more!

Hands down the best doughnuts I've had. I drive 40 minutes just to visit Bernie's Donuts & it's worth every minute. The doughnuts are fresh, soft, & packed with flavour. The apple fritter was absolutely incredible. Easily some of the best doughnuts in Canada! 🍩
I had been hearing about Bernie Beigne from so many people that I finally decided to give it a try, & I am so glad I did. When I arrived, there was a lineup to enter the store, which honestly made me even more curious. It is clearly a popular spot. The place itself is pretty simple & not fancy at all, but do not let that fool you. The donuts truly stand out.
These are easily some of the best artisanal donuts you can find in the city. They are fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with care.
The lineup is absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be coming back to try more flavors.
I was visiting from out of town & arrived at the shop prior to opening. The gentlemen working let me in early, & were extremely helpful & welcoming. I was offered beautiful fresh, glazed donuts beyond the gourmet options I had chosen. Beautiful humans, amazing donuts. Made my month 👍

Have taken a step back reviewing lately but something happened & I needed to speak up.
We went to another popular donut shop when Bernie was closed during the holidays & my oh my the difference is astronomical.
Bernie's is always fresh, always soft & squishy even when it doesn't look as soft (like the new John Louis), still ends up surprising you.
Doubt there's another place that has donuts as good as these.
If I mistakingly eat a donut from Tim Hortons occasionally, I find myself wishing the drive thru was Bernie.

Bernies Doughnuts is the perfect place for a sweet snack. We shared the maple glazed & the chocolate doughnuts & both were absolutely delicious. Fresh soft & full of flavour with just the right amount of sweetness. Big thumbs up all around 🍩
Great freshly made donuts, popular for a reason. We came before opening hours & there was already a line forming. Service is quick, with a variety of flavours. Would definitely come back & get this the next time I visit MTL.
I will say some of the flavours make for heavy donuts, but all delicious regardless :)
Best donut I've had in my life! So light & fluffy! You can tell it was fresh! We went for the original first (you must!), & then went back in for seconds! They gave us a free one when we came back in! Cinnamon sugar. Very friendly, & quality product. 100% recommended stop if you're seeking out the best eats in MTL. 🍩

Some of the best donuts 🍩 I've ever had! Whether you go for a classic or one of their filled options, every bite is fresh, flavorful, & satisfying-& they definitely don't hold back on the filling.
Even just waiting outside, you can smell the sweetness in the air & see the donuts hanging in the window, making your mouth water before you even step inside. The shop has a fun, welcoming vibe & everything feels handmade with care.
An absolute must-stop in Montreal for any donut lover. I'll be dreaming about these until my next visit.
Hands down the best donut shop we've ever visited-an absolute must-try! We're donut critics & make it a point to sample local shops wherever we travel. This place blew us away. The donuts were unbelievably fresh, soft, & packed with flavor-truly next-level delicious.
We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner & his family, & their warmth & hospitality made the experience even more memorable. There's something special about a small business that treats its customers like family. From the service to the quality, everything was five-star.
We had it two days in a row & will try to go once more before we head out!

The donuts are fresh & soft, I really liked the tiramisu, it was moist & different. The service was fast, took less than 5 mins to get the donuts. The donuts are big, so they fill you up quickly.
Been getting donuts here consistently for almost 2 years & they're always fresh, even when ordered through UberEats. The guys who work there are very nice & always smiling. They seem to love what they do. There are often lineups outside, but the line goes quickly for with a max 10 min wait.
