If you are looking for value, skip this place. It is very overpriced & live up to its longtime reputation as the restaurant that give small servings for prices that will give you more quantity elsewhere in the area. Two months ago I made the mistake of going back for a take-out order & serves me right to be handed the second time dried out pieces of meats chicken this time, previously it was a case of some dehydrated morsels of seafood as if they had too much excess protein supply in their kitchen & not enough orders to use them while fresh. I know everything costs more now post-pandemic but the other restaurants around that I have continued to patronize are thankfully maintaining their quality & quantity at still reasonably raised prices.

We went here after seeing a YouTuber recommending it. The food is fresh, but it does not taste good. It's their recipes... 1st & last time.

The lobster was excellent - fresh, cut apart & easy to eat, & a bargain at CAD 34. Crispy chow mein also good. Service at lunch was fine.

The food was awful. We were in Chinatown looking for a bite around 10:30 pm, & unfortunately for us, this was the only spot open. It was pretty packed, so we assumed the food would be good. It wasn't. Most of the food we tried made me question whether the food was safe to eat. There was a common theme: the food tasted stale & old, & everything we ordered came out in record time, which meant nothing was fresh. It gave us no time to enjoy our food - McDonald's takes more time to prepare a meal. We ordered the pork, wontons, dumplings in peanut sauce, & duck. The duck was the biggest disappointment, both in terms of taste & cost-to-portion ratio. It was literally four small pieces of old, chewy duck that instantly put my stomach in shambles, & we paid over $20 CAD. All in all, our meal was $65 CAD, & we left so unhappy & feeling gross about what we had. We love Chinese food in hole-in-the-wall eateries & eat pretty much everything, but this restaurant just missed the mark.

This is the best Chinese food restaurant in Montreal. The portions are great, & the food quality is outstanding. Everything is freshly made & piping hot as it hits the table. This place is so good we ate there twice. I recommend the General's Beef, General's chicken, & lemon chicken. Both of these dishes are stellar. This restaurant was located within walking distance from our hotel on St. Catherine St.

I am a realtor & I often eat out & entertain my clients. We ordered via "uber eats". Total bill was over $145. Part of the order had a soup. Specifically asked for soup cups or bowls, plates & utensils & they completely forgot all of it. I honestly could not justify "value for money". Fried rice, 2 chicken dishes (which barely had chicken but full of veggies), 2 shrimp dishes (barely had shrimps but full of veggies), egg rolls (which was not fresh at all & horrible) & vegetarian hot & sour soup for whopping $26!!! like really? wow!!.. & our total was $161 & change.. seriously!! It was raining, if not we could have gone to a beautiful fine dining place probably would have eaten more & paid less?
