Overall a mediocre place because the food was a little strange. As a Chinese person, this definitely not authentic Chinese (especially Beijing) food. Serving size was on the smaller size. Sadly, would not come again. 2 stars because food is the most important, but service was alright.
Food: Flavour was either too strong or lacking: most dishes were too salty, too sour, or left a strange taste. Sour & spicy soup was not spicy but very sour.
Service: Very enthusiastic waiters with little wait. However, we had to organize the plates ourselves & the tip was automatically added to the bill.
Atmosphere: Nice decor, clean.
Food was pretty horrible for Chinese food. Portions were small. Food was too salty & not tasty. Service was good.
OG, Classic chinese Restaurant. The Best Spring rolls EVER!! There Massive & tasty..a lil' greasy but worth the extra time on the treadmill 😋
The General Tao is Amazing!! (& doesn't taste like everywhere else) .. .. Great service too!
I absolutely love this Chinese restaurant; it's my regular spot for Asian cuisine, & the food here set such a high standard that other similar spots can't compare. The food is fantastic, I've dined in, ordered delivery & picked up takeout many times. I suggest ordering their in-house delivery service to support their staff. The owner is incredibly upbeat & welcoming, & I always feel comfortable visiting. Would fully recommend to everyone.
Very friendly & vibrant restaurant with the most delicious Chinese food I have had in my entire life. This is a must go for Montréal. In the Chinatown section you will be surrounded by many Asian owned businesses & they all have something unique to offer. The place is very clean & the tables are well spaced. The service is friendly & my mom & I had a great time. We would come back to Montréal just for this restaurant.
Came here on Christmas night, which is strangely the most Christmas thing to do. Didn't have a reservation, & knew we would have to wait, but the staff was so friendly & accommodating. They ended up putting us as a large table with others who also didn't have reservations & we all could order separately & dine together. It was wonderful.
Their flair of Chinese food is Cantonese, which is different than Sichuan style or the American Chinese food that many are used to, so it was definitely a surprise (but not bad).
Just had some delivery - it is probably the worst Chinese food I ever had. Dry, bland, & one of the dishes was nothing like the photo, so much that I wondered if they sent the right dish.
Literally the worst example of Chinese food in North America I suspect. Peanut butter sauced overcooked dumplings. General tso came 2 seconds after appetizer - completely tasteless - Shanghai noodles came - took a bite- again tasteless. Decided to leave at this point without waiting for the rest of the meal. Service was fing rude. Space was hugely overcrowded. Maybe people in Montreal don't know better? Doubt it. I can't recommend against this place any more strongly. We found a Mexican place to cleanse our palates - it was in Chinatown- didn't dare do another Montréal chinoisierie.
If you need a variety of medium priced very decent Chinese food, don't think twice. They will always make room for you.
