Thank you for still accepting us just a few minutes before closing time! 🙏🏻 The staff were so kind & welcoming, & we really appreciated them accommodating us.
Everything we ordered was delicious! The Yang Chow fried rice, sweet & sour pork, beef with broccoli, & beef ho fun. Everything was so good! 😍
Great food, friendly staff, & excellent service. Highly recommend! 🙏🏻😀
We arrived at our Montreal hotel around 10 p.m. after a long day of traveling & were absolutely starving. We happened to walk past this restaurant & decided to give it a try, & it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our trip.
The standout dishes were the sizzling beef, the moo shu chicken, & the steamed turbot. The turbot wasn't even on the menu, but when I asked if they could prepare a steamed fish, they happily accommodated my request. It was fresh, perfectly cooked, & one of my favorite dishes of the evening.
The only items we wouldn't order again were the sesame beef, which had more breading than we prefer, & the fried wontons.
We'd definitely come back. They had photos of so many other dishes, including oysters, displayed around the restaurant that made us want to return & explore more of the menu.
Had the ginger beef. It was terrible. The meat was so fatty & oily. Not even sure if it was beef.
I have been coming to Beijing for over 20 years. Loved it - but tonight was a disaster. Beef & broccoli had virtually no beef, Japanese tofu & pork had NO pork. Nothing was up to their usual standards. I asked if there was a new chef. Nope. Time to look for somewhere new to try.
The quality of their dishes has gone down! Ordered their rice noodles with beef (classic Cantonese dish) & beef was tough like leather . They cut down on everything & increase their prices. Save your money & go somewhere else!
We tried this place today on our trip to Montreal. Unfortunately it was pretty bad. Honestly, Panda Express taste better & that's not saying much. The steamed dumplings were disgusting with a smathering of really sweet peanut sauce on top. Next was the Noodle dish we ordered, noodles were ok but the beef tasted gamey & was really tough. Then we ordered Chicken Fried rice, had a terrible after taste. Last, we ordered the General Tao Chicken, tasted way too fried & had too much breading, almost like a chicken nugget with sauce. We payed $72 Canadian including tip. Do not recommend this place, we did not even complain, we felt kind of bad since hardly anyone was in eating there. The good that came after this is since we barely ate any of the food, we were able to give it to a homeless man & made his day.
The food is incredible, the beef & the general Tao were amazing. Very cozy atmosphere, loved it.
Everything was good, the atmosphere & the food- the peanut butter sauce dumplings was a great discovery for me & the sesame beef was good!
A bit on the pricey side but the food was great!! needless to say portion was good too but they charge u service fee by themselves we paid 11$ might be better if they let the customers give it by themselves not forcing it but yeah overall good. I tried the lobster & beef sizzling
