We had goat dum biryani & it was extremely tasty & authentic. Also ordered garlic chicken not unique but Loved the flavour & quantity. The waitresses were quite friendly.

Great food. The curry leaf chicken starter was very good. Spicy & fresh. We also ordered the goat biryani & were satisfied.
The hygiene of the place was not very good. They had kept the high chairs of kids just outside the washroom which was disappointing.

If you love spicy then go with their Ghee Roast Chicken/Egg biriyani. If you like non-spicy, then you will love their Nawabi or Mughlai Biryani.
Walking into Bawarchi feels a bit like stepping into a fish market-pun absolutely intended. It's loud, crowded, & the ambience isn't exactly what you'd call refined. But once you get past the chaos, you're in for a treat.
While the North Indian options are limited, everything we ordered was spot-on. The hariyali chicken was packed with flavor, the noodles were surprisingly delicious, & the dal was simple but satisfying. The staff, despite being swamped, remained responsive & efficient.
If you're looking for a calm, quiet dinner-this isn't the place. But if you're okay with a bustling setting & care more about food than aesthetics, Bawarchi delivers where it counts: on the plate.
Absolutely incredible Indian food! It was so tasty & you get large portions for your money. I had the Butter Chicken Biryani & it was delicious! My mom loved her Chicken Tikka Masala. We will absolutely be back next time we're in Montreal.
Located near my university, this place became our go-to whenever we craved a decent biryani & some beer. Their Karvepakki Chicken Biryani is my favorite-flavorful & satisfying every time. The Chicken 65 is a perfect balance of spice, not too intense but still hits the spot. My Arabic & Canadian friends are big fans too! Proudly Indian, this spot offers authentic flavors that appeal to everyone, & it never disappoints. Definitely a place I always recommend!
Bawarchi serves incredible Indian cuisine! I tried the Chicken Chili & Special Chicken Biryani-both were bursting with authentic flavors. The Chicken Chili was perfectly spiced, while the Biryani had tender chicken & aromatic rice. Generous portions & excellent service make it a must-visit for Indian food lovers.
Delicious, authentic. Real spicy level & the biryani is excellent. Grains are well separated & the chicken pieces are rich & complex. The service is great as well. We went on a Friday night & it was super busy. There were only two girls & they did a phenomenal job. Surprising good beer selection too (local Knowlton brewery on tap)
We went to this restaurant after reading some good reviews,& also were craving for biryani. We ordered chilli fish, ghee roast kaju Chicken biryani,ghee roast kaju fish biryani . Everything tasted average, with out of balance flavors & spices crying out loud. Service was quick,but the major let down was a neighboring table with three very loud guests .
It's a great restaurant & would definitely recommend the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Chicken. The staff is responsive & warm, I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to have great food with sweet service by the staff. The ambience is a plus!!

I just visited Bawarchi, & I'm glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken biryani was perfectly balanced with spices. The ambience was cozy & welcoming, & the staff were super friendly & helpful. They made great recommendations. If you are looking for amazing Indian food, I highly recommend this place.
I had been here today with my family members & the food was really good. The service was good. Miss Harini helped us & she was really professional & very comfortable & friendly to communicate with, & they took really less time to get us all our orders, which was truly commendable. We enjoyed the meal thoroughly. We really liked the chilli shrimp appetizer, karaikudi chicken curry & ghee roast mutton pulao & the lime soda at the end was so refreshing. Overall it was a meal worth enjoying. I loved it & might go back again.
This chicken biryani is truly exceptional-one of the best I've ever had. The flavors are perfectly balanced, with tender chicken & fragrant rice that's cooked to perfection. The portion size is generous, easily enough to satisfy two people. Highly recommended!
