Pleasant & enjoyable dinner at Au Pied du Cochon. The excellent food was matched by the attentive & pleasant wait staff who all go out of their way to make you feel at home. My favourites from the night were the sweetbreads & beef tripe.
Tout était parfait comme je le souhaitais & l'imaginais, avec un bémol. La IPA n'était pas à la hauteur de cette gastronomie. Il faut aller vers une vraie micro-brasserie comme Bas-Canada ou Messorem.

We couldn't leave Montreal before trying this institution. We did not know to expect & tried to cultivate as much hunger as we could due to the warnings of extremely rich food. Let me say that the food is obviously quite rich but it is not unbalanced in any way. We had the oysters to begin with; they were fine but that's it, I think I wouldn't order them again as they were not so flavorful. We also tried the foie gras poutine that was very very good, opulent, not overly salted & addictive. Only thing is that maybe there could've been a few more fries there. To finish we had the aged pork chop that was properly sized & so so easy to eat, super tender, well grilled & it's perfect with its jus at the bottom also to have along the poutine. At the end of the meal we were really satisfied & didn't feel nasty full. I must mention that the wine list is very well made, concise & with great French wines but also a very well represented North American section. It was our final meal in a 4 night food trip to Montreal so maybe that influenced that we did not have a huge appetite. Cannot wait to go back & repeat.
One of my most favorite meals I have ever had! Duck tartare, duck in a can, sweet bread are must orders. Service was also impeccable & I so very much enjoyed the conversation with my server. This is a must in Montreal!
Toujours une belle expérience. Les nigiris au foie gras restent un incontournable. La quenelle aux pétoncles étaient délicieuses. Le coup de coeur aura été le pouding chômeur avec extra cheddar & foie gras. Absolument décadent. L'expérience au bar s'avère agréable où l'on voit les cuisiniers en action. Le service est impeccable. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service excellent, & the atmosphere cozy. The one rather disappointing thing was that Au Pied de Cochon no longer has the famous pied de cochon on the menu! I asked the waiter & apparently it is only rarely available these days, & since the menu is not online & they don't have a phone number to call to ask, you just have to hope to get lucky that they have it when you show up.
Superbe première expérience! Nous sommes allés en famille & l'accueil est chaleureux. Le service est impeccable. La nourriture est vraiment à la hauteur de la réputation. Mention spéciale pour le Temaki de canard... c'est incroyablement bon & la présentation est bien fignolée. Poutine au foie gras c'est une obligation. Le canard en conserve était tellement savoureux. Tous les plats se partagent bien & c'est apprécié qu'on nous le propose. Finalement, nous avions un doute face au pouding chômeur comme déssert mais nous avons flanché sous la recommandation du serveur. C'était délicieux. 10/10

An epic dinner, one for the ages! Delicious food (comme d'habitude!), spectacular service: one of our party was a vegan, had called ahead, & the chef prepared a spectacular meal just for her. The exquisite food was matched only by the ambience & the warmth of the staff. Can't wait to return.
Les plats sont incroyablement bons ! Raffinés & copieux, nous avons été hyper bien accueilli, le serveur nous a très bien conseillé, je recommande à 100% ce restaurant
Nous avions effectué notre réservation depuis plusieurs mois & nous avions des attentes très élevées. Lors de notre arrivée à l'heure prévue, il y a eut beaucoup d'attente pour obtenir notre table. On nous a même invité à aller prendre un verre ailleurs, ce que nous avons fait. Après avoir passé notre commande ailleurs pour un verre, ils nous ont appelé pour nous dire que notre table était prête. On a donc dû annuler notre commande pour notre verre & retourner au restaurant pour obtenir notre table. Malheureusement, notre table n'était toujours pas prête & nous avons attendu un autre 20 minutes. Finalement, nous avons obtenu notre table 1 heure plus tard que l'heure de notre réservation. Nous étions près de la porte & il faisait extrêmement froid. Les entrées étaient délicieuses mais les repas principaux étaient ordinaires pour le prix payer. Les portions n'étaient pas aussi généreuses que ce que nous pensions & il n'y avait aucun accompagnement dans les assiettes. Je pense que c'est un bon endroit pour les touristes pour découvrir la cuisine québécoise. En ce qui me concerne, je n'y retournerai pas.
Nous ne sommes pas aller au restaurant, mais plutôt à la boutique pour notre commande de produit a apporté pour les fêtes , comme toujours de bon produits & toujours apprécier de la famille

Toute une expérience, nous sommes allés pour notre souper d'entreprise & ce fût une révélation. J'en entendais beaucoup parler mais rien ne vaut l'expérience d'un tel niveau de gastronomie. Mère à toute l'équipe qui ont fait de notre soirée, une réussite. Je vous recommande fortement l'entrée de foie gras
