I've been searching all my life for the best croissant. & this is the place!!! The best croissant in the world!!!! It is amazing. You can taste the savory & sweet butter inside. Which is exactly how I like it. I wish all bakery make the same croissant with lots of butter. The kouign amann was amazing too. I ate too much lol But it's the best. I would come here everyday if I could.
Amazing place, It's a shame that they don't go open that much & close earlier than the times they put online, came all the way from the Netherlands expecting that they were still open as they said online just to get a taste, but they weren't & now I will leave in 3 days without having the opportunity to taste their pastries.

I don't know how people in this city stay so skinny with a place like this around. We've never had Kouign Amann & it was so good, we came back multiple times on our 9 day trip. The signature offering is very buttery with a nice crispy surface somewhat similar to a good croissant. I wouldn't visit Montréal without sampling this place.

Everything was delicious. My favorite was the almond croissant. Coffee was also good. Enjoyed watching the pastries being made. Feels like a neighborhood treasure. Judging by the foot traffic, has quite the following but not uncomfortably busy or crowded. Just steady.
La place a été recommandé par une amie. Leur Kouign Amann est incroyable. Juste assez sucré & salé. L'extérieur croustillant & l'intérieur moelleux & encore chaud. À la première bouché je savais déjà que j'allais pensé encore & encore à cette patisserie. Je vais devoir définitivement me retenir de devoir revenir chaque jour 😋 La place est assez petite & il y avait beaucoup de monde alors nous l'avons mangé à l'extérieur sur la rue piétonnière

Une seule recette à la Pâtisserie Au kouign aman à Mont Royal ! Cette spécialité bretonne à pur délice, frais, chaud, goûteux. Le beurre est l'un des principaux ingrédients, en effet, Kouign-Amann, une fois traduit du breton, signifie « Gâteau au beurre »😋 Quand je suis rentrée à cette pâtisserie, j'ai compris d'où vient cette bonne odeur de gâteau breton chaud & caramélisé 😃 Ils ont aussi des variétés de viennoiseries comme les croissants à prix très abordables, les croissants aux amandes, des chaussons. L'accueil était très chaleureux, amical, on se sent bien chez nous ❤️ Fortement recommandé !
