Randomly went in here & got whatever the heck that cake looking stuff is & it blew my mind how delicious it was. I can only describe it as moist a bit flaky & buttery & slightly sweet! Goes great with chai latte!
I went to Kouign Amann & tried their signature sliced kouign amann. It was one of the best pastries I've ever had-crispy on the outside, soft inside, & full of buttery, caramelized flavor. I highly recommend it.
I also tried the croissant. It was okay, but I expected it to be better. It wasn't as crispy or flaky as I was hoping.

I stumbled upon this place while walking through the neighborhood & I am so glad I did. The pastries are incredibly buttery & flaky, exactly how they should be. It is rare to find a bakery that gets the texture of a kouign amann just right, but this spot has mastered it. The atmosphere is cozy & the staff is very welcoming. I will definitely be making this a regular stop on my weekend mornings from now on. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods.
We tried the small Kouign-Amann, which comes with six perfect pieces-the absolute perfect size for our family. It was served fresh, crispy, & warm, with that flawless balance of caramelized crunch & buttery, flaky layers.
This is the second time we have been here & it does not fault to disappoint. We ordered a piece of the kouing amann but honestly should have just gotten a whole one to save for later because we wanted to go back later but they were closed.
This is a must try if you are in Montreal. Very buttery & flaky & the perfect butter cake. No complaints apart from them being closed 3 days a week.

I didn't know how a croissant was supposed to taste until I had one here. Every bite was so crispy & flaky & messy in the best way. & their namesake Kouign-amann might be the best dessert I've ever tried. I've searched for a better one ever since, including in Paris, & none have compared.
