Nous y avons passé un bon moment. Le brunch était bien & plusieurs choix étaient offerts.View more
Beautiful cozy place, great for brunch. desserts were amazing.View more
Came here for brunch & had a wonderful avocado & mushroom crostini. Was not too busy despite coming on a Saturday at 10:30. The decor & vibes were beautiful to enjoy with company or to study. Definitely worth your time to check out if you are in the area.View more
Superb place to grab breakfast, lunch or brunch, as well as a really neat co-working or study spot. Just be mindful of areas where you cannot have your laptop open so as to keep space available for eating clients.
The space is also available for renting for events!View more
Great brunch place! We went on a Sunday & there was plenty of space. I ordered the avocado/mushroom toast, which was excellent. I also shared the lemon/blueberry pancakes. They were good. In terms of service, you have to order your food at the counter, & they bring it to you. The food came quickly. The only negative with the service was that the servers weren't very cordial. They just picked our plates without asking when we weren't completely done.
I would still recommend it for a good & fairly priced brunch place.View more
Nice place, but they forgot our order. Brunch food didn't taste good, pastries were okay. My fiancés eggs were undercooked. Disappointing as the ambience is great, but I highly suggest to only have coffee & sweets & not the food..View more
Brunch is good but the portions are a little on the smaller side for the price. The pastry selection is very nice though.View more
Conveniently located downtown Montreal, it is a nice place to visit for breakfast, brunch, lunch or a coffee. Lots of room divided in different areas, so no worries to find a seating. We really enjoyed the « croque mademoiselle » for brunch with a nice latte. We'll be back to taste for items on the extended menu. Service was ok with the person that brought our plates, he seemed new & obviously lack experience in servicing. This is a self semi self service as you order at the counter & you get the coffee when it is ready while the food is brought to your table. Worth the detour!View more
Classy interior & lots of food options. My friend & I got avocado toast with lox & an iced latte for brunch & they were delicious! Heads-up though that it can get packed towards lunch time & might be waiting for a while for your food.View more
This is a beautiful ambiance with different pastries & brunch options. However, there is no services after receiving foods & if you need an extra plate, utensils, bread or any other side requests you have to turn back to customers line & wait long to talk with cashier. We asked an extra piece of bread & they charged 7$! Unreasonable price for a bread & inconvenient customer service in a sense that needs to back to the line just for such a small request! In the matter of food quality, we ordered Shakshuka & supreme croissant. The Shakshuka was delicious but the breads were super stiff & the croissant taste was average. There is still a way to improvement.View more
The vibe is fantastic, beautiful spacious place to work, meet friends/colleagues, chill or have a nice brunch/food. Different furniture setups for various preferences. I tried cheese & mushroom toast which was great & a dessert with coffee. They were tasty & great.View more
This restaurant is simply beautiful, I had the most amazing brunch here & will be back again soon!View more
The pastries are amazing but the breakfast is a big NO. If you are looking for pastry this is the spot but not brunch.View more
Dimanche j'ai essayé le brunch! Quel deception! View more

Amea, located in the former Alcan building on Sherbrooke, is a surprisingly large yet intimate resto-café offering expanded selection of pastries & sandwiches for weekday breakfasts & lunch, as well as an excellent selection of premium coffees. On weekends there is an expanded brunch menu with a variety of hot dishes.
For our meals we chose Mushroom Avocado open face sandwich (very good), the Shakshuka (very good, a little on the runny side but with lots of fresh herbs...a interesting take but still good), & the Avocado Pomodoro open face sandwich (also very good...lots of tomatoes!). The coffee options are extensive & I had an excellent Americano.
Ordering is done at the counter (somewhat like a cafeteria style), after which a table number is provided to you & then you sit at any available table you like. There are a large number of tables as well as several two-person "shelters" (a banquet style table with a roof) to which the meal is brought to you. Overall a nice albeit somewhat busy place to have a brunch or quick meal. Enjoy!View more
I ordered a Shakshouka dish for $20 + tax, what I received was not Shakshouka at all! It was like a watery tomato paste with soma withered vegetables & soft-boiled eggs in it. Totally dissatisfied. Wanted to talk to manager but have been told that the manager is not available! Was about to give only one star, but the coffee was good though.
Not recommended for brunch.View more
Stopped to grab a bite & coffee after a walk on Mt-Royal. Super cute, great vibes. The brunch menu looked delicious & reasonably priced with various options. We had an iced latte, an iced blue matcha, & a DELICIOUS pistachio croissant stuffed with strawberries & rhubarb (OMG!!) Coming back to try the other flavours 😋View more
