Offering a refreshing, contemporary, and all-vegan Japanese cuisine, Sushi Momo is a sophisticated twist from traditional Japanese sushi. With 10 years of experience, chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre opened Sushi Momo in December 2014, and has been getting much praise from day one. Christian's creations are both enjoyable and extremely creative. Christian wanted to give Montrealers the most options for vegan sushi in the entire city.

I'm not vegan, but decided to try this restaurant for the creativity. It turned out to be the best restaurant we tried in Montreal. The pani puri appetizer was our favorite. Just fantastic. It's a small space & I'm glad we made reservations.

One of my favorite vegan spots. This place is genuinely impressive the food came out fast, & even my non?vegan boyfriend surprisingly loved it. Prices are reasonable, & the staff is incredibly attentive & sweet. Overall, a great choice.
Beaucoup trop de sauce sur les
sushis, ça finit par être extrêmement gras & j'ai eu beaucoup de difficulté à digérer toute la nuit. On a adoré les entrées par contre mais franchement on ne reviendra pas. Très bon service par le dynamique & super sympathique Lou. Un resto avec une belle ambiance calme & un décor magnifique. Pour le reste on préfère les sushis de poisson & fruits de mer 🍣 alors on ira dans un sushis bar.
Très bonne expérience ! Des saveurs uniques & variées tant pour les sushis que les cocktails ! Le personnel sera présent pour vous aiguiller dans la multitude d'options qui s'offre à vous ! Très bon accueil en plus du cadre en lui même !
It was my first time trying sushi as a vegetarian, & I absolutely loved this place! The staff are really nice & knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance is cozy & perfect for a dinner night. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a great sushi experience.

Got the Hitori (15)pc of sushi
& no exaggeration nothing was good there was a lot of weird flavours.
Very disappointed because my fiancée just give birth & she asked for shushi so I thought I'd give it a try because it looked good on uber but complete opposite.

Franchement, je suis vraiment déçu. J'ai rarement été autant déçu…. J'ai commandé le menu'15 de nos sushis favoris' sur ubereats en pensant recevoir un assortiment classique. Rien dans la description ne met clairement en avant que ce sont uniquement des sushis vegan. Je mets la photo de la description sur ubereats. À la place, j'ai reçu des sushis aux champignons, aux patates douces, aux aubergines & graines de céréales. Pas une seule pièce avec du poisson. Je me suis senti complètement piégé. & pour couronner le tout, aucun remboursement alors que clairement c'est un attrape-client. Je comprends que c'est un restaurant vegan, mais pour quelqu'un qui commande sur ubereats, il faudrait vraiment être plus clair & transparent dans les descriptions. Très mauvaise expérience.
Sushi Momo by Christian Ventura was such an amazing experience! We went without a reservation, but the staff was incredibly accommodating after we mentioned we were visiting from Ottawa. That hospitality really set the tone for the evening.
It was actually our first time trying sushi ever, & we were blown away by how flavourful everything was. The food was creative, fresh, & absolutely delicious. We tried the miso soup, SOS sushi, Japanese arancini, & the Green Machine roll - every single dish was packed with flavor & beautifully presented.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu & took the time to explain the dishes, which made the experience even better for first-timers like us.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely worth visiting, especially for vegan & vegetarian lovers. We will absolutely be coming back next time we're in Montreal!
