Food was great. Service was poor. It was a friend's birthday. We asked if they did candles twice & were told they would get it for us & were just left hanging.

This place is nice if you're looking to enjoy a night out, & I'll admit the service & atmosphere were good. That said, I personally find it very overhyped, & my friends felt the same way.
Unfortunately, our experience started off on a negative note. The bouncer was extremely rude when we tried to get our friend inside (we were very respectful). He aggressively told us,'I'm going to need you to back off, stop talking & leave!' We were honestly shocked at how poorly he spoke to us. It definitely set the tone for the evening (considering it was my friend's birthday!!).
As for the food, it's overpriced for small portions & nothing particularly special in terms of taste or presentation. I wouldn't come back for dinner. There are definitely better spots out there with better music, better value, & a more welcoming attitude.
Overall, it feels more like a place that's'for show' rather than somewhere you'd return to for the full experience.
Came with Mass Min for my birthday dinner, we had the best time, service was great & Mass made sure we were well taken care of the whole night, if you're ever in Montreal make sur to look him up he's the best !!
I came for my birthday & Mass hooked up me & my girlfriends properly. Great set up for dining & supper club later, the vibe can't be beat on a Sunday night. Thanks Mass! 😘
I took my sister for her 35th Birthday. It was an incredible experience. The food, is amazing. Go before 1030 to enjoy the delicious cocktails & then stay for the party. Range of ages, from 18-40s....I didn't feel old, I loved every second of it & so did my sister! We will absolutely return. The performances from the talented dancers was a fabulous touch! You wont regret going :)
I went to Yoko Luna with a group of friends on Sunday, September 14th for a birthday dinner, & overall it was very disappointing. The place looks nice & has potential, but the service & how things were handled made it a frustrating experience rather than a fun one.
We arrived around 10:05 PM, placed our drink orders & then the food orders fairly quickly-but then we waited over an hour for our food. Meanwhile, two other tables who came in after us had already gotten multiple courses including dessert. We were never given updates about what was causing the delay, no check-ins, nothing. Despite sitting in a highly visible, central spot in the restaurant, nobody bothered to attend to us properly.
When the food finally started arriving around 11:10 PM, it was a mixed bag-literally. Two friends ordered the same quesadilla dish & one plate was okay, but the other tasted off, almost spoiled. After waiting that long, inconsistent quality like that is really unacceptable. Because of how late our food came, the kitchen was closing & we didn't get to try dessert or explore the rest of the menu, which was a shame.
To add insult to injury, once the place began preparing to turn into a nightclub, the staff rushed us to clear the table & gave a sense that they just wanted us out. When the bill arrived, the waiter's tone was aggressive, especially since I refused to tip after such poor service. Between the five of us, we probably spent around $700 on single entrees alone. & the treatment we got was nowhere near what that kind of bill should warrant.
Yoko Luna has a striking atmosphere & the idea of Nikkei cuisine is exciting, but the execution here was badly off. Long waits without communication, poor food consistency, inattentive staff, & an overall lack of respect for paying customers ruined what should have been a celebratory evening. I won't be going back, & I'd strongly caution anyone else considering going there

We had an amazing time celebrating my friend's birthday. The food & cocktails were on point, & our server Mike, was fantastic friendly, attentive, & full of great recommendations. He really elevated the experience. My water glass was never empty! The vibe caters to a more mature crowd, perfect for those in their 40s & up.
We had a great time celebrating my friends birthday. Food & cocktails were good, service by our waitress Kayla was excellent. She had lots of helpful suggestions & made our experience terrific. My glass never went without water. It's a more mature crowd, great for 30s plus.
My friend & I went to Yoko for my birthday, & we had the best time ever! Our Server Nelson was just beyond amazing! Gave us the best suggestions of the menu & simply made our night so much more special.
I always have a great time when i go to Yoko! Food is really good, music is awesome & the vibe is always vibing! & they also have the BEST server in the world (Nelson), he was so much fun & also very attentive, took such good care of me & my friends when we went there for my birthday! ❤️
Came here to celebrate my birthday with a girlfriend. We had to the pleasure of being served by Nelson who was so lively, sweet-hearted & attentive! He truly reflected the high-end customer service you'd expect from an establishment of this sort! The cocktails & dishes were to die for, i'll definitely be coming back! Thank youu for such a wonderful night again Nelson.

Went for my good friend's birthday & I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best clubs in Montreal. Great bottle service, amazing staff & incredible atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
