My stars say it all! Question (that I should have asked while there but the staff was so busy, I didn't want to be a bother) what is the topping on the takoyaki? It was visually amazing & very tasty, but I didn't know whatbI was eating! Excellent experience & delicious cusine!Voir plus
The ramen here is phenomenal. This place is considered THE ramen place in Montreal.
Points off for service & atmosphere. Don't come too hungry because even on a Monday at 2pm you will wait about 30 mins for your food.
They seem to only hire men for the serving staff, & it's pretty small quarters so the last time I went the guys were all talking about women while I waited.
If you don't mind looking over these details & waiting quite long for the food then this place is a Montreal must try.Voir plus
Authentic ramen done right in Montreal? You bet! Seating was tight inside but it matched the decor & it worked.Voir plus

My favorite ramen spot, great atmosphere, great service, great foodVoir plus
Ramens lacked texture & flavour, service couldn't read the room. Music was loud & the food was pricey for what it was.
I got dinner here around 6. There wasn't any wait so I was seated immediately. The atmosphere is cool, pretty dark & a nice Japanese vibe. The staff was very friendly too. I got chicken Raman with chicken broth with thin noodles & a whole egg. The portion sizes were very generous. There was a lot more meat than I expected & lots of noodles. It all tasted good. It wasn't gorme but I was more than satisfied. I paid about $21 (+$1 for another half an egg) so I think it was good value for the amount of food I got.Voir plus
We had dinner here at 5pm on a Friday. No line to get in & was promptly seated. The restaurant was small & my husband & I were put in a seat facing the wall which was fine. The restaurant was dark & hot. Hot because they are literally cooking the food with fire right in front of you! Which is awesome. I hate when ramen comes out warm/hot. This came out extremely hot which is perfect.
I ordered the sesame broth with normal salt & chicken teriyaki. The broth was nice & creamy. They put HUGE pieces of chicken in the soup. I was actually shocked. It was all very filling. If you aren't absolutely starving or aren't the type of person to have a big appetite, you can share one bowl with two people. $22 for that much food was great.
The service was great & the food came out quick. Clean big washrooms as well.Voir plus
Love this place for its amazing sesame broth & tender noodles. The taste is always there. The ambiance is similar to Tokyo izakayas, tight but enjoyable. My favourite ramen place.Voir plus
Yokato Yokabai Ramen is definitely one of the best ramen place in Montreal. Their ramen is super delicious & the prices are reasonable. Service is great as well. I also love their karaage & edamame beans. They also have a bar section to grab a beer/drinks with friends/coworkers. Would easily recommend this restaurant. Only con : it's often busy so might have to wait for a table.Voir plus
Le meilleur ramen que j'ai mangé. Le karage & les takoyakis sont aussi divins.Voir plus
