The best yakitori I've ever had.
Exceptional service (India was divine & very hospitable & knowledgeable), the vibe was perfectly upbeat & chill, & the food was six stars out of five. Definitely a gem & worth coming back over & ove
C'est juste malade. Qualité prix imbattable a Montréal!
Yakitori Hibahihi is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm & intimate, perfect for a relaxed evening or a special night out. Every skewer was expertly grilled-tender, flavorful, & clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The balance of smoky char & seasoning was spot on.
Our experience was made even better by our server, Flavie, who was incredibly likeable, attentive, & genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations were spot-on, & she made us feel truly well taken care of without ever being intrusive.
You can really feel the care & authenticity behind every dish & the service. If you're looking for exceptional yakitori, great vibes, & a memorable dining experience, Yakitori Hibahihi is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back.
The service was excellent. The food was decent, but not quite what I expected. That said, I really enjoy their egg salads & drinks. However, the prices are a bit high compared to the overall quality. Still, if you're curious to try yakitori, it's worth giving it a chance

Price are terribly high for a yakitori shop.
You should put the price for the whole 2 Yakitori & not asking people to take 2 minimum. Otherwise you should allow people to take 1 Yakitori. So it's 10 $ for 2 small Veggie Yakitori.
5 Dollars / Yakitori minimum is way too expensive.
You feel that the staff have been trained on this specific issue to avoid friction with the menu & gave recommandation on what to order.
For exemple they told us that the 38 $ could be share for 2. Actually is a small Toro don for 1 person. Too expensive & too small . I took a Mousse au Chocolat, more than half of it was Ice cream & some chocolat jelly in a small cup. I felt cheated.
The restaurant is missing some piece to be a real Japanese experience like Seseri or kawa & tare or salt option.
Tsukune were way off from Japanese Quality.
Sake menu is amazing & cocktail are well served. Count 80 $ for a 500 ml Sake Carafe.
Waiter.ess were amazing, oshibori at the start is a nice attention.
Food quality here is amazing, arguably better than yakitori in Japan. The fried chicken is light & crispy, & the skewers are perfectly tender. The only downside is the mains; the Ramen & Don portions are quite small for the price. the Ramen & Don bowls are very small & a bit pricey for the portion size, so you'll need to order plenty of skewers to fill up. Expect to spend around $80/person. Great service with the warm towels!
Yakitori Hibahihi is an exciting new venture from Hiroshi Kitano & Hideyuki Imaizumi, celebrating the art of charcoal-grilled yakitori.
The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering sashimi, cold & hot dishes, a few generous mains, & an excellent selection of meat & vegetable yakitori skewers. Each skewer is beautifully grilled over charcoal, delivering deep, smoky flavours.
A special mention goes to the powerful yet silent ventilation system, which keeps the air clean & comfortable-so you can enjoy sitting right in front of the open grill without leaving smelling of smoke. A refined & thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
Yakitori:
• Buta Bara (Pork belly)
• Gyu (Angus beef)
• Momo (Thigh)
• Tsukune (Meatball, egg yolk)
• Ebi (Shrimp, Chemin Hatley cheese)
• Zucchini with white miso
• Tomato with Yuzu Kosho
Cold dishes:
• Maguro: Tuna sashimi, Nori sauce, Kimizu, Wasabi
• Hiyayakko: Silken tofu, cucumber, ume, sesame
• Potato salad: Chili oil (On the side), chives, shallots
• Morokyu: Cucumber, Moromi miso sauce
Simply perfect in every way. This yakitori restaurant is the closest thing to eating in Japan right here in Montreal. I could eat here everyday of the week. The hearts & liver are a must!
Came here with my Friend a few nights ago & had an absolute blast!
The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the beautiful decor, the place is just has an amazing layout & Japanese vibe that really stands out & thrives. Makes for such a chill & relaxing atmosphere
When you are seated & your jackets are taken by the staff you are provided a hot towel to clean your paws before eating, it's a little thing but it's such a good setup before eating.
We should have to use a hot towel before doing everything, before we start work, go to the gym, drive a car even before GSP goes into the octagon he should have to use a hot towel.
The food was amazing & I'm going to let the pictures do the talking for me, everything had amazing taste & the liver was the best I've ever had in the city. (Toronto included)
I was blown away buy this place & didn't expect to have had such a great filling meal that would leave me thinking about it for days after.
Overall:
-The price was right
-Bathrooms were clean
-staff was friendly
-Dining area was clean & comfortable (seats too)
-music & vibes were spot on
10/10 - would highly recommend coming back with friends & family.
