Villa Wellington in Verdun serves Peruvian cuisine composed mainly of grilled meats and seafood. Sample menu: Cream of shrimp, broiled stuffed potatoes, grilled shrimps, grilled chicken breast, fish or seafood ceviche, Jalea (Platter of breaded seafood), Parihuela (large seafood soup) broiled trout, grilled lamb cutlets, vegetarian, "Canadian" dishes, crème caramel, rice pudding and cake of the day. Villa Wellington offers an excellent value for your money. The ambiance at villa Wellington is charming and traditional, the main window is filled with vines and hanging plants. The walls are filled with Peruvian hats, posters and crafts. The tables have the same brightly-coloured cloth and simple paper place mats. If you enjoy Peruvian beer, you'll be glad to know that Villa Wellington carries Cerveza Cusqueña. They also serve their famous soda drink called Inca Kola.

This family owned Peruvian restaurant offers the flavors from Peru, & caters to Canadian tastes. We frequently go there when we are in Verdim. We have tried half the menu items & all were delicious.

Mon nouveau restaurant préféré à verdun! J'en avais entendu parlé depuis longtemps & j'étais dû pour y aller... Résultat tout y est:la nourriture est délicieuse savoureuse & en quantité généreuse..un service amical & chaleureux, un décor traditionnel & de la musique latino (bachata, salsa) qui nous donne envie de danser après le délicieux repas. Je reviendrai définitivement car le menu est très bien garni aussi, j'avais envie de prendre & essayer tellement de choses... Gracias🙏

I went with my family last week, we ordered the one with anticuchos, causa, ceviche (i think it was la ronda marina) i had high expectations but the food was tasteless & horrible
I had the worst causa that I've ever eaten. It didn't taste the aji amarillo & I think they use yellow colorante idk.
The ceviche was horrible, think I can prepare it better lol. No spicy & it tasted just lemon & ginger.
The anticuchos, lack of spices, horrible, the marinade was tasteless.
Tbh, idk why people still reviewing with 5 or 4 starts, i want to believe that they are from here that never had real peruvian food & I understand that many of the costumers are from Quebec & they are not usually eat spicy food but the restaurant should keep the original recipe.

Food was great, but the service is very disorganized. Someone will get their food & then everyone else will wait another 30min before they get theirs. People are nice though. Waited longer for the salad than the grilled chicken.

Très belle expérience dans ce restaurant péruvien. Le serveur était chaleureux, attentionné & toujours souriant, ce qui a rendu le repas encore plus agréable. L'ambiance est conviviale, avec une belle énergie qui met tout de suite à l'aise. Les plats sont savoureux & bien présentés, on sent la fraîcheur des ingrédients & l'authenticité des saveurs péruviennes.

I loved it! We had the Tuna Causa & I was pleasantly surprised! We also had the limo Saltado it was so good! I highly recommend both dishes.

Bouffe excellente & portions généreuses, mais service vraiment ordinaire.
J'ai commandé des fajitas & j'ai reçu la viande sans tortillas… j'ai attendu 5-10 minutes avant de les avoir. On a aussi dû redemander eau, breuvages & sauces à plusieurs reprises.
Je comprends que c'était une soirée salsa, mais si le resto n'arrive pas à suivre avec autant de tables, il faudrait en réduire pour offrir un meilleur service.
Côté nourriture, rien à dire : guacamole frais, fajitas & poulet grillé savoureux, portions généreuses & belle carte des vins!

The food was EXCELLENT, the staff was polite & the restaurant was crowded but not too much. Great experience overall
