Bouffe excellente & portions généreuses, mais service vraiment ordinaire.
J'ai commandé des fajitas & j'ai reçu la viande sans tortillas… j'ai attendu 5-10 minutes avant de les avoir. On a aussi dû redemander eau, breuvages & sauces à plusieurs reprises.
Je comprends que c'était une soirée salsa, mais si le resto n'arrive pas à suivre avec autant de tables, il faudrait en réduire pour offrir un meilleur service.
Côté nourriture, rien à dire : guacamole frais, fajitas & poulet grillé savoureux, portions généreuses & belle carte des vins!
J'y suis allé encore cette année, lors de la visite annuelle de mon père. Il insiste pour aller "au péruvien" quand il vient à Montréal, car il adore la pieuvre. Cette fois-ci, nous avons été conquis par la qualité des fruits de mer, la généreuse portion de poulet & l'onctueuse sauce des papas a la huancaína. Le service peut être lent & distrait, mais à leur défense, il y a deux terrasses & une salle à manger l'été!

My family & I have been going for over 20 years. It's always been the same family that own the restaurant. This is easily the best Peruvian food in Montreal that I've tried. Some of the best calamari, their ceviche is awesome, their chicken, beef, yuca, salad, everything I've tried was amazing. Also they have the best green hot sauce ever.
I finally had the chance to have supper with a few friends ant this restaurant. Fiorella the waitress was a jewel but the man ( waiter was grumpy & to himself. The meals we chose were amazing but once we got to the desserts which were churros, as i dipped it in the caramel caramel sauce a very long hair was stuck to the churros.I called over the waiter showed him what i found, & he said absolutely nothing. Took my plate away 15 minutes later he came back with another dessert plate & left without saying nothing again, Did not & never apologized for what had happened. I was expecting an apology & maybe not to be charged for that dish but no!. So unprofessional & rude. I paid the bill did not leave any tip & will not ever return. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone anymore, who ever does go, inspect your food & go over your bill in detail as they "mistakenly " overcharge.
Nous étions un groupe de 14 un samedi soir. Service absent,on explique mal le menu & pas assez amical pour du péruvien . Sélection de vins minable, des chiliens inférieurs au gros prix. Une soupe au maïs comme du maïs en crème (en conserve) délayée. Quelqu'un a pris le lapin, on aurait dit un lapin sans peau, coupé & tout simplement plongé dans de la grande friture. Un autre: l'émincé de boeuf... c'est un pepper steak (pas tendre) avec des légumes bien ordinaires, librement arrosé de sauce soya. Rien de très imaginatif. Moi j'ai pris ce qui semblait être le meilleur ; les calmars frits,croustillants & tendres, belle grosse assiette. J'ai jamais pu tout finir.J'aurais dû pas manger la soupe. 2 autres ont partagés le plat de fruits de mer qui était finalement le plat de calmars avec quelques bouchées de filets de poisson frits rajoutés. "Où sont les crevettes?" s'est écrié l'une d'elle.

Aaah ce qu'il peut y avoir de bons restos à Verdun!
Arrivées un dimanche soir sans réservations à ce petit resto. Il était presque plein! Trois groupes étaient déjà attablés (dont un de 16 personnes!) mais nous avons été accueillis tout sourire. C'était notre première visite mais ce ne sera pas la dernière!!! J'avais depuis longtemps entendu parler d'un bon resto péruvien à Verdun mais je ne croyais pas qu'il pouvait s'agir de celui-ci; Villa Wellington.... ça ne sonne pas péruvien du tout! Le menu est très varié: de plats italiens, canadiens, mexicains & - une chance! - péruviens! Nous avons décidé de partager deux plats soient le riz frit au poulet & le "Seco con frijoles" un plat de ragoût de boeuf sauce à la coriandre servi avec riz blanc & haricots blancs. Wow! D'abord, les portions sont impressionnantes. Ensuite, les plats ont quelque chose "d'additive"! Tu veux arrêter mais tu peux pas! lolll Le riz frit au poulet était tout aussi savoureux quoique un peu sec. Normal, c'est du poulet...! En dessert, nous avons opté pour la verrine de dulce de leche... miam! :-p
Au final, nous retournerons certainement à ce resto & je n'hésiterai pas à y amener d'autres amis pour le leur faire découvrir!
