Afficher toutvin(16) sauce(5) pourboire(5) prix(5) mussel(4) italian(4) carte des vins(3) groupe(3) decor(3)The restaurant décor & ambience are quite cosy. The prices are quite steep. The food however is terrible. The pizza bit appetizer was not very good. The bread was very dry & the butter was frozen hard as a rock. I was served a plate of mussels which had several broken mussels as well as mussel beard still attached to them. That was disgusting. Mussels should be cleaned (beard removed)& broken ones should be discarded) I was then served Fazzoletti pasta with what was supposed to be a lobster filling. There were no pieces of lobster meat at all. Instead, the pasta filling was a disgusting mash of lobster innards. The three Fazzoletti were buried in a watery white sauce. They were sprinkled with imitation black & red caviar. The dye from the caviar leached into the sauce as I ate (not very appetizing). The dessert (the hard cark slices, the crème caramel & the Sicilian ice cream cake) were quite disappointing. Even the cappuccino coffee was terrible (flavorless with a fallen crema). Their wine is kept along the exterior windows which is not very good for it(exposure to heat & sun). I am of Italian background & know my Italian food quite well. This supposed Italian restaurant was the worst I have ever eaten at In my 60 years in Montreal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.
